Need advice on my Shoulder Injury. Serious answers only please.

I havent been able to fully workout for over 6 months.

I have been to two different doctors and one said it looks like a rotator cuff injury, and the other said rotator cuff and torn labrum.

They cant tell me for sure without doing an MRI and I cant afford that.

When I was my biggest I weighed 252 lbs and I benched 405 x 3. Then I cut down to 220 and looked really good.

Now I am down to 200 lbs, I lost a decent amount of size and I really want to get it back.

My shoulder clicks and pops, and sometimes it almost dislocates, like if I turn over when I am sleeping and put weight on that arm it wakes me up and feels like it almost popped out.

I cant do ANY incline, no bench press (barbell or dumbell), and shoulder press. And if I do any other excersises I can feel a little pain. Sometimes more an unstable feeling in my shoulder.

What should I do? MRI and surgery is too much money.

Someone told me to directly inject HGH into my shoulder and it should heal in 6 months to a year. But I am afraid to use hgh.

    Any advice?

Are you still training? Put that on hold for a start every time you aggregate it you are taking a step back, you managed to afford to cycle, pretty sure u could come up with the coin for a MRI.

I cant afford it now that I am married and have bills to pay. I got married and moved out. When I was on cycle I was still living with my parents last year.

And I am on TRT now, because I messed up my natural production of testosterone, because I took 1000 mg of test per week for 2 and a half years straight, because I was a complete dumbass and didnt want to lose size.

So the doctor put me on 1cc per week and arimidex for life.

I have that to pay for now without being under my parents insurance.

Ive been dealing with the same thing for over 8 months, close to a year. I have taken most every supplement known to man to help. MSN, Glucosimine, hyaluronic acid, injecting Alflutops, getting deep tissue massage, using contrast therapy (Ice/heat), using ice, EMS therapy A.R.T therapy, chiropractic cortisone shots and I"m going to see the doctor Wednesday to talk about PRP but I am 90% I'm just going to tell him it's time to cut.

Everytime I think it might be getting a little better it doesn't and maybe gets a little worse. Pain is not as bad cut I cant lift.

Story's of injuries scare the shit out of me, had a few minors, nothing serious but even that was horrible. This the reason I have decided to drop HIT workouts, really not worth the injuries, I feel for you guys, that deffernatly sucks

I recently had surgery to repair a similar problem. The total for the surgery was 40g not including be rehab. Insurance covered 32 of it. I would suggest attempting to get insured and get it fixed. However, if this is not an option there's a bunch of protocols online designed to tighten and strengthen the shoulder joint.

Paying the ultimate cost now bro =\ trt at 22 and injuries, hope things work out, but your story is why so many here try to steer the young away from steroid use.

I was doing shoulder dumbell press with 90 lbs dumbells and my right arm went back a little bit and kinda over stretched my shoulder, that started it.

I pulled it a couple days after that when I got a ticket and I got pissed and took my keys out of my pocket and threw them backwards really hard. Because they were so light and I threw them so hard I pulled my shoulder really bad, and it was bruised (muscle tear) and I couldnt move it for a week.

A month after that I was doing dumbell chest press and on the 3rd rep going up my shoulder popped and tore again.

Ever since it has gotten slightly worse over time.

Deja vu. South Beach 20 years ago.
Lived with it since. Done MRI, physical therapy..etc. Never healed. Affects most of my lifts.
I am a little crooked now, right shoulder tilted forward.
    Learned to live with it.
On HGH and Winny it got 10 times worse.

If you don't have the bread, you could either borrow the money from your parents or see if you have an MIA program at your county hospital (call up the county health office to find out). Bottom line is you need to get the MRI done just so you know what is wrong and maybe decide what the right course of treatment is. Anything anyone here could tell you would just be speculation.

Also ask your doctor if you could get a CT scan done instead. I believe those are considerably more affordable.

Winny will dry you out, make the tendons worse. HGH possibly MIGHT help.

I am 90% sure how I did mine and need to post a warning to anyone taking cholesteral meds like Lipitor that have statins. I was pretty confident since statins have been proven/linked to muscle decay it could effect tendons. After more research there are a LOT of people in the same boat, shoulder tendon problems after taking Lipitor/statin drugs and some studies are backing it up now.

I wasnt lifting heavy or wrong.

Yes, you need to stay away from HGH.
I probe got my pain from Winny. HGH might cause some pain from fluid retention, but will go away after few months, and it will have a healing/rebuilding effect on joints and ligaments. At your age there are ways of naturally stimulate output of HGH, like L-Arginine and L-Glutamine, but even this I would be careful with, or stay away from until you´re closer to 30 due to your "long bone growth".

I am going through very similar injury on my right shoulder only no clicking or popping (knock knock knock of the wood). Its been 4 months for me actually. The pain does not bother me during everyday activities, only on lifts. Can’t do sets on benching (flat or incline) and very selective chest and shoulder exercises/weight. I still try maintaining the definition and size, but it’s so ****ing hard now. The orthopedist (shoulder specialist) did X-ray’s which did not show anything. He then gave me cortisone shot into the back side of the shoulder. I waited a few days and went back to the gym attempting to lift. It didn’t do much difference. In my particular case, it’s very hard to get the shoulder going and loosen it up from pain. However, after a few sets I can go a little heavier with less pain, but I am nowhere near where I was. When hitting triceps, I have to select exercises to bypass the shoulder pain as well. It’s driving me insane with the cycle right around the corner.
I am going to do the MRI this upcoming week and will bring the results to the orthopedist for further review. I think that it has to be inflammation somewhere and nothing is tore up as I am able to still lift. I will post my updates here when available along with next plan of action. Hang in there brother!

Sounds like tendonitus man I had the same in like my bicept tendons doctor jerked me around with mri's ,arthograms and then tells me he found nothing. Then sends me to physical therapy for months still nothing gets bette at allr gives me anti inflammatories since I took a pass on cortisone still nothing just masked the pain been back working through it and after awhile it diminishes and then comes back around briefly for a day or two then goes away like 95%. They jerked me around doctors told me it was a labrum tear then a rotator tear I honestly think the doctors don't know shit and just wing it 99% of the time with an educated guess at best.

That's a good observation bro. I have tendonitis on my left elbow where I wear two elbow sleeves which allow completing the workout. The shoulder could very well be the same outcome. I'll see what the MRI brings back. The body is breaking apart while still only in the low 30s.

I would cry myself to sleep if I looked that good and lost it fk bro

I have a serious rotator cuff injury I got over 10 years ago. What worked for me was doing half a dozen stretches almost everytime I work out and always on shoulder or chest day. It adds 20 minutes to my routine but has allowed me to start going heavier. My shoulder is so bad I still have trouble sleeping with it sometimes.

Yeah im only 18 and my bodies already falling apart to, also it spreads very easily if you've had tendonitus in your elbow chances are its spread I had it in my shoulder it effected everything i did on a bench but didnt effect anything else really I even stopped working out for a few months did nothing and it just spread to allmost every corner of my upper body for no reason. I had it in the shoulder first then the forearms and wrists then it went to my elbows and then my pec tendons its just a nasty condition it will go away on and off and then eventually you should be feeling 95% percent but theres always a little bit of pain.

    hope this helps you man

As a trainer I often deal with shoulder injuries. You need to do alot of stretching in the chest and back! and deep tissue massage on the shoulder that is a problem! from the sound of things you also need to do some medial deltoid work (rear delts). Slow tempo scapular retractions and face pulls are great for this! As far as your rotator cuff you need to build them slowly! try very very slow tempo exercises and stretches.

My advice is to find a good sports therapist who specialize shoulder injuries and work with them.

To help it heal and bring down inflammation and pain take these supplements:

8-10g of omega 3 fish oil spread out 2-3 times a day.

Vitamin D 5000 iu to help the cells start to heal and re build tissue

Vitamin C 2000-3000mg a day to help with tissue repair.
