I still try maintaining the definition and size, but it’s so ****ing hard now. The orthopedist (shoulder specialist) did X-ray’s which did not show anything. He then gave me cortisone shot into the back side of the shoulder. I waited a few days and went back to the gym attempting to lift. It didn’t do much difference. In my particular case, it’s very hard to get the shoulder going and loosen it up from pain. However, after a few sets I can go a little heavier with less pain, but I am nowhere near where I was. When hitting triceps, I have to select exercises to bypass the shoulder pain as well. It’s driving me insane with the cycle right around the corner.
I am going to do the MRI this upcoming week and will bring the results to the orthopedist for further review. I think that it has to be inflammation somewhere and nothing is tore up as I am able to still lift. I will post my updates here when available along with next plan of action. Hang in there brother!
