AI, Test, HCG timing

Does it really matter when i take all 3 of these?? Reason i ask is cuz i forgot to take hcg yesterday and today is shot day so basically i pinned my test then hcg and then took my AI and left for work..

Typically yall do hcg day before test and ai day after.. Is there a reason?? Thx

I assume the HCG is at the end of the week because our test level is winding down

and the AI is right after the shot because you want the test to not be converted into estrogen

what is your protocol? it really doesn't matter if you skip once in a while, hell i forget or skip all the time! LOL! one thing i don't forget and skip is my test shot and AI, those are really have to be on time but even if you forget to take AI after you shot its better to take it a day later than not.

Crisler believes that adding hCG two and one day before test injection can help balance levels using a once a week test injection protocol.

The timing of the AI is somewhat more important however. Test serium levels peak at about 72 hours from injection. An AI's half life is about 50 so both peak roughly the same time.

This can all be eliminated with two test injections per week.

protocol:

sun: (am) 250iu HCG
mon: (am): .5mg a-dex, (pm)80mg test cyp
wed: (am) .5mg a-dex
thu: (am) 250iu HCG
fri: (am) .5mg a-dex, (pm)80mg test cyp


if yall recall i am scripted 3mg a-dex/week .. well im doing 1.5 until i get BW dun in like 3 more weeks..

also something that kind of freakd me out for a sec as i was injecting this am i aspirated and when i pulled out the plunger to do so and released it sucked itself bak down fast like there was a vaccuum.. i withdrew and re pinned and it did it again.. so i said screw it and injected anyways.. is this normal? never happened before .. thx

LMAO! i would have injected the first time, but what you did if okay! LOL!

okay, your protocol doses are good however (and i think thats why you asked the question to begin with) you should take AI after test injection. remember GD's post about half life of all three meds? you won't start converting for at least 24 hours after test injection, and AI have a short half live and it almost works immediately. so its better to take AI 12-24 hours after test injection. the way you're doing it now your AI starts tapering down at the time you need it the most. also i would change the protocol as follows and you can select any day to start with,

Sunday AM, 80 mgs test
Sunday evening or 12 hours later take 0.5 mg AI
Tuesday AM, take 0.5 AI
Wednesday evening, 80 mgs test
Thursday AM, take 0.5 mg AI

hCG you can select any three days of the week as long as you have one day off in between.

After what I've been through as of late with an E2 crash, I'd be careful with that amount. Very curious what your E2 level was prior to initiating that amount. If you don't know, or it was relatively normal, I'd cut that dosage back to .25 x 3 until your next BW. E2 crashes quickly and takes a long time to build back up. Real long time!

thx bass ill give that some thought! now i understand.. ai only works for so long.. i guess i thought of it more along the lines of being in my body continuously

Kel: baseline E2: 24.1

after 1st lab(6weeks in) E2: 63 (this was with no ai)

as result doc put me on 3mg adex per week.. i did that for 2 weeks and then droppd to 1.5mg per week after some consultation on this forum.. get labs again in 3 weeks which will be 8 weeks since ai introduced..

id also like to note my test dose with no ai was 200mg/week .. it was reduced to 160mg/week along with starting ai ...

I'll be really curious how your labs come out 405. Please keep this thread updated. AI amounts are of interest to all here and I am no longer a fan of the 1mg AI per 100mg cyp logic. I'm hoping less ends up being more for you in the long run.

now that i see your base line and after results i agree with KelKel regarding the amount of AI you should be on, you really don't need much to knock that down. it seems you don't convert easily which is a blessing! i look forward to see you blood work results.

u know kel the doc im going to is supposed to really know his stuff.. trained under dr jeffry life and blah blah blah... why the heck did he script me for 3mg adex per week for 8 weeks with E2 of 63????????
