    Celexa(anti-anxiety) and AAS Cycle

Good afternoon. Just been prescribed and reccomened to take anti anxiety medication an I was wondering how this may affect my upcoming cycle(10 week test-e) and PCT?

    Week 1-10 500mg test-enan EW
    Week 8-12 1000iu HCT
Week 12-16 nolvadex and Clomid (40/50 2 weeks then 50% reduction for 2 more weeks)

If there are serious negatives I will hold off on the meds until a few weeks after my full cycle is complete.

    Any input?

I take Citalopram (generic Celexa). I have not had any issues while on and off cycle. Like you, I was prescribed this SSRI for anxiety.

A word of caution...when I stopped taking Citalopram for a while I got some serious premature ejaculation. I couldn't last more than 2 minutes. So I started taking it again and everything is back to normal. I wish my doc would have told me I might have trouble coming off of the stuff. I did a little research and it seems the medical community does not have a real good grip on what happens to people when they stop taking SSRIs. It just hasn't been studied very much. So take them at your own risk.

Yup I'm also on Citalopram, I've run multiple cycles with no problems.

I know many people who use anti depressants and cycle just fine. I would judge this though on the severity of depression.

if you just wanting to know if you can fun aas with it you should be fine. If its causing sexual dysfunction, I would recommend different meds you can talk to your doctor about

Not able to sleep that night at all
And had trouble keeping a full erection and took a ehile(I already have a difficult time Getting off, I really have to focus) to nut...

I don't know what else is out there for anti anxiety. I don't have depression

Just gonna call my doc and tell him I don't want to take te Celexa. The benefits just don't outweigh the costs to me.

I have anxiety and it gets BAD at times often with no conscious trigger. Xanax would be nice, something I could take as needed rather than these pills u have to take daily that mess you all up, but I'm in the military and cannot be prescribed it.

I was given ambien with the Celexa, I already had pre-existing sleep problems so I will just take that for sleep...

Citalopram has an onset of action of around a week, and full effect 8-12 weeks. I doubt one dose made much change.

Also, Effexor is NOT a true SSRI. It has mixed effects including NE and dopamine effects in addition to serotonin.
