TRT and cycling AAS for muscle gain

Hi

Firstly i know there is a TRT section but as this is a question not directly associated with medical problem and rather supplementing with AAS i thought i would ask here instead. Please move if i am in the wrong, or i could delete.

Basically i am just looking for advice here lads.

If some one on TRT, medically prescribed, wants to do a cycle, what are the protocals?

For example if on TRT and you want to do a test e cycle of 500mg per week for 12 weeks. Is it just a case of adding 500mg of test e a week on top of your TRT dose. Then after 12 weeks cutting out the extra test and just reverting back to the TRT dose.

Also wouldnt this mean no PCT is needed because it is essentially just a blast and cruise for life? so to speak...

Since no PCT is needed, and once you come off you will still have high serum levels of test (due to trt dose), is it likely that if training and diet are maintained, you will keep all gains made?

I ask because my understanding of it is, you can lose some gains made on cycle once you come off, because your natty test levels are low and this makes your body catabolic, and PCT is done to fix your natural test levels. But this is not a problem if on TRT.

Any comments/advice is appreciated

I wouldn't add 500mg to hrt dose. You just run the amount you plan to cycle. No you won't need pct. and yes you will maintain gains better then if you had to do pct.

Your doctor will likely closely monitor your blood concentrations initially. You'll have a lot of explaining to do if you walk in there running 500mg a week for a blood test.

These are also health considerations you need to consider beyond testosterone concentrations. Your cholesterol numbers can be drastically effected by running cycles. Even for months after coming off cycle. If your doctor were to see that you could be taken off hrt for that concern as well.

Also i will be recievng nebido shots every 10 or so weeks so i cannot alter this dose (due to the long ester and it being administered by the doc). So would adding 500mg not be equivalant to any male with a normal level adding 500mgs?

I understand that he will want to minitor me for the first year or so very closely, and then once i am dialled in he will push out the blood tests so that they are less frequent. I am just doing a bit of research for future referance mate, i will wait untill i am dialled in and know i am stable before trying to add some extra test.

How much nebedo are you receiving every 10 weeks? I find it hard to believe this compound will release and provide stable levels over that period of time. This is testosterone unde. ester. On paper this stuff appears to only be slightly longer acting then test cyp or enth.

No it would not be the same. Because a healthy male will stop producing their own natural test.

But do you believe it will result in stable concentrations over the course of ten weeks? I had a doctor suggest 250mg/three weeks for test cyp. My current endo said that doctor didn't have a clue and that was a ridiculous schedule.

If it is effective, lets get it FDA approved and sign me up. But I bet his blood testosterone levels will vary drastically over the course of those ten weeks. My doctor has me on 150mg a week. He said to go beyond one week results in fluctuations that go beyond the scope of normal fluctuations within a healthy adult man.

I used to inject 200 every 10 days. I can't say I honestly noticed any difference based on 150 a week, but the doc says blood levels are more stable and that is how he wants it ran.

I'm curious about this as well, I've been researching for awhile and just heard about this BLASTING concept for one that is on TRT. So quick question (hope this does't look like i'm trying to hijack your thread). Say the Doc is giving you 150mg and you wanted to add to this would it be better to pyramid up then back down, Say add 150mg of your own the first week or two on up to a max of say 500mg mid-cycle then back down to trt levels? Would there be any benefit to this? Also if you were to add HCG when would be this best time, the whole cycle or mid-way. Also how long would you want to carry the HCG post Blasting? Again sorry for the hijack, just thought this would go along nicely here instead of starting another thread right on top of this one!!

You would only add 300mg/wk to your 200mg/week TRT dose. I understand what you are thinking, but it is missing a little info. When a normal male takes 500mg/wk it shuts down his natural production, so he is only taking 500mg/week. It isn't cumulative.

Yeah that makes sense about the natural test shutting down, never considered that!!

In relation to the nebido, it is 1000mgs of test u every 10 - 12 weeks (yet to be determind).

I know it is hard to imagine it being effective for such a long time however that is the nature of the ester and it has been shown to be very successfull in a number of long term studys (up to 9 years). The only reason it has not been FDA approved is due to one or two patients on the study coughing after injection, this is obviously down to nicking a vein or something similar but the FDA were not happy to approve it due to this!

So basically then, on top of my trt dose, i would just add in the extra test, once the cycle is finished just revert to my normal dose. Sounds simple and to be honest if i am already on trt i dont see why i wouldnt go for it!

Nebido is the finest testosterone therapy there is IMHO and is far superior than any other but don't stop taking it so you can cycle, just cycle on top of your TRT injection protocol. The ester is to long to be messing with.

How big of a dose do they give you if it lasts 10-12 weeks? And how many CCs is it?

I take 4ml 1000mgs every 12 weeks,

I use to take Test E and previous to that Test gel

I know one that carries the real human grade product but it is insanely priced. I know a couple UG labs that produce the same product as far as it being the same ester.

Ive only ever seen it once where you can buy it online but it was expensive, I wouldnt bother with UGL's because they don't use the same oil. I do believe it will be available in the US soon

That would be cool. A guy could run a suspension cycle between hrt injections and have the extra test clear his system before a doctor visit.

isnt nebido and andriol the same compound? any one care to try and needle suck the andriol capsules and inject? that should be much cheaper. each capsule has 40mg.. thats 25 capsules for one equivalent shot of nebido....

RTB if your already on TRT then you should be on HCG as well.....Read the sticky in the TRT forum regarding HCG and Pregnenolone.

Yes it is the same ester of testosterone. BUT who knows what the carrier is in andriol. It could be a USP grade injectable oil. But I doubt it.
