Question should i take a week of training completely before i start my cycle ???

i hear its good to have a week free of weights every now and again, basically i havent had a week of for about 3 months or so training 3-4 times a week, im starting a cycle of sust/deca & var a week monday and am wondering if its worth taking next week off free of weights as i will be hitting the gym very hard for the next 12 weeks streight 5 days a week. i dont really want to take the week of but is it a good idea ???

I did 2 weeks off after 6 months hard training right before my cycle.
When I went back it was almost like training after a much longer break. I got some serious DOMS, and I'd swear some size/hardness out of just the first week back.
Next time, I think I'm going to try it right as I start my cycle, so that the AAS is active when I start up again.
Look for a thread about slingshot training here. Lots of good info!

Here is a different approach: you can do tendon strength training only for 1 week before the massive strength kicks in with the cycle.

Just go light and do high reps for a week. Don't go to failure and the increased blood pump will help heal you up. The key here to stay light and DO NOT go to failure.

Do you mean off cycle you use dumbbells and on cycle you use a barbell for chest exercises? Why is that a shock why are you not doing both on or off cycle I don't understand.

when im on cycle i normally start off with a bench exercise either incline or decline as my main chest exercise as i can go heavyer as the dumbells only go up to 50s at my gym and i can lift them for a comfotable 6 reps natually, but normally when im not on cycle i will go for higher reps and generally start off with dumbell press, i mix my routines up every 6-8 weeks and know how to train.

No. You do not know how to train. This is the dumbest crap ever. Do not come off your cycle and start doing high reps with light ass dumbells. You will lose you strength gains and the size that came with it. Do you work out at Planet Fitness?
