I stay away from ec preworkout personally because I do a lot of running and when I first started using it, my heart rate was a little higher than I liked. Nothing scary or dangerous but I am just cautious. I currently take 96mg ephedrine, about 6 cups if coffee through out the day and a 0 cal monster preworkout and my heart rate is not an issue anymore. The stimulating effects of ec wear off over prolonged use, but according to many articles I've found and threads I've looked over, the thermogenic properties increase.
Besides all that, upping the dose is minimal compared to eating less calories or doing more cardio. Bottom line is calories in vs calories out.
