    steroid beer

It turns out, having spoken to somebody involved with the campaign, that only the first batch of beer contains steroids – the ones being sold to the public will not contain steroids, though they still contain the other substances athletes are banned from consuming.

My concerns were simply because it’s illegal to sell steroids in the UK, though legal to buy them for personal use.

They put creatine in it? Gross. I would rather see people in America drink this rather then a 40oz of Pepsi.

They're putting only the first batch with "steroids?" What's the point in that? The public doesn't get to experience the ones with "steroids" in it? Why even promote that? Beer's won't be so anabolic once you take the anabolics out haha.

That's like me putting out a beer and promoting nude celebrity pics on them, but only the top celebrities will be on the first batch and not be released to the public. Then all the rest will have amateur and B grade actors on them....

Going to go get me a case and start my bulk!

they said only the first batch had steroid because it was for their own use.
since you cant sell steroids if they sold the beer with steroids in it, it would be illegal

In all my years of brewing beer, I've never seen anything like this. Most bazaar beer i've made was to add a bunch of some "green leafy substance" to it the same way you would add hops.

I don't drink but I want to brew my own beer. How did you get started?

I bougght a kit. Expanded it. Purchased over a dozen books and read them. Began associating with another bloke in college that brewed as well. Brewed 5 years. Two batches a week. Hung out in one of the first brew pubs in california, probably in the usa, and helped pour beer from time to time, assisting in the botttling, that sort of thing. Used my dad's truck to go pick up the grain. Since there so few of us brewing 30 years ago, we got to know each other. Some of us went on to open their own brewpub (I never did)

I began brewing in the early 80's after moving back home from Germany, and not finding the beers i loved here.

I've gotten rid of the equipment, but someday, I fancy myself STILL opening a brewpub.
