    New Here. Hoping to get some more Information :)

    So I'm 18 and been lifting since I was a freshman in high school. I'm damn strict with my routines and my diet for the most part. I gave up drinking and other stupid things to better focus on training. At the moment I'm doing a 6 day routine, 3 of which are conditioning days and the other 3 are full body workouts. I normally did body splits but I decided to change it up. Some stats:

    Weight: 205lbs
    Height: 6 foot 2.5 inches
    Best Deadlift: 545lbs (with belt)
    Best Squat: 480lbs (with knee wraps and belt)
    Best Bench press: 290lbs
    Pull Ups: +60lbs for 5 reps
    Dips: +100lbs for 5 reps
    Clean and Jerk: 275lbs

    This summer I am seriously considering starting a cycle. I know, I know, 18 years old is too young etc! But I honestly feel I've been training my ass off and eating properly and been doing damn well and have enough experience under my belt to try a simple one. I have done lots of research but I know it's no where near enough so that's why i'm starting up on this board. Any advice, comments, etc? Look forward to being on the board.

    Welcome. A lot of very smart experienced guys are gonna fill u in on the whole "too young and why". My suggestion to u is to listen to these people and try not to search to hard for someone to tell you it's ok. The reasons behind why you are to young are scientific, and not at all personal to you. There are some exceptions but I assume you have both your nuts, so low test at 18 is not likely IMO. Good luck with your research, check all sections for diet and exercise and even aas. Your never to young for information, and by the time you are old enough, you will know everything there is to know about gear

    Dont trade doing one stupid thing or things for another like steroids when you are to young. You will damage your HPTA, fuse your growth plates and risk getting ED.

    Stick to the diet section and learning.

    Welcome to the forum mate, as a young bodybuilder myself at 20 years old this forum has greatly helped me. Goodluck!

    Yeah I'm always on and off with the cycle. Sometimes I'm like I want to do it b/c I want to speed things up, but at the same time I feel I want to max out my natural potential, which is probably smarter. Thanks everyone

    We have all been there and either did that or wanted to. It takes a lot of will power to do the right thing but in the long run it's always more gratifying and safer. It sucks when you have to admit you didnt listen and now you are that guy everyone warned NOT to do it and you have to try to figure out how to fix what is wrong.
