    dirty bulking?

    alot of these young kids at the gym are using this method to pack on size. eating everything,and some of them actually have decent builds?to mee this seems counter productive,but ive been strugling to pack on size ive been on a bit of a plateau lately? just cant seem to force down the food lately.any thoughts on trying this after a contest in may?

    I do it. And i won't mention all the bullshit i eat but it helps. Just don't make it an everyday habit. I typically eat that stuff sometime before going to the gym. Ex: 2 Quarter Pounders w/cheese and fries. 1 large pep extra cheese pizza. Snickers bar, mt. dew, chocolate cake, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
    It's not like you're going to wake up tomorrow morning out of shape and fat. I say go for it. If you start picking up too much unwanted fat, stop. It's pretty easy.

    I train with a guy that could use a dirty bulk. It can be a productive way to get those extra calories.

    I stalled for a few weeks in my bulk and then started adding a few cheat meals a week and got gaining again surprisingly easy. Just control yourself i kind of got carried away with it and had to make some adjustments to get my bf back to where i wanted it.

    On some days I eat everything in site.

    I just try to keep in mind of protein, calories and carbs.

    I don't eat complete shit like ice cream. I mainly focus on heavy protein rich foods, like burgers and steak with potatoes.

    lol. . . I try my best to stay away from complete garbage food at least.

    All carbs and jack shit else.

    I dirty bulked for like 6 months a few years back. Gained like 40 lbs naturally (this was before I started using AAS), maybe half of it was lean. I was eating fast food all the time, and inhaling several pounds of beef and sweet potatoes daily. I felt like shit and looked like shit (in retrospect), but I finally had a good base to build on and didn't look small anymore.
    It isn't healthy, but it can be a great way to kickstart the bulking up process, especially in younger ectomorphs who have trouble eating enough clean food to grow.
    I wouldn't recommend it for your situation, though.

    I had major surgery a year back, and went from 200+ to 160-. I used the dirty bulk method to get my weight back as quickly as possible. For me it was an excellent way to get back into the game, get my lifts back up, get my self esteem back. Now Im back to a normal cut/bulk sced.

    i am guilty of this, it does work but it will result in lose sloppy fat gain ( mostly around gut and sides) but i but on good amounts of muscle. alot of my binges were pre and post cicis pizza and asian/chinese buffets lol lots of chicken, shrimp,beef, sushi

    but i didnt put on sloppy weight at the buffets it was the late night ice cream pints and resses puff cereal lol

    and i held a whole lotta water while i was eating this way

    I eat really strict during the week, but eat a lot of cheat meals on the weekends, it works for me

    It's no coincidence that when I started eating a bag of chocolate peanuts every day before my workout, my strength and in particular my shoulder size went through the roof. Each bag contains about 30g protein, 70g carb and 70g fat, or about 1000 cals.

    For a dirty bulk protein rich foods are the way to go. Pizza, chocolate peanuts, beefburgers, fast food, pasties, Pies etc.
