    Test Q's before first cycle

    Hi guys

I have been lifting and dieting naturally for nearly 7 years now but I have decided to give AAS's a go to see what I can really get out of my body.

    My current stats are:
    26 y/o
    5'7
    172lbs
    around 15%BF

I have been told Test would be the best to use for my first cycle, is this true? If so how come?

I'm currently eating 500cals below maintenance calories and only eating carbs pre and post workout. Could I continue to do this on Test to gain lean muscle? Or would it be better to eat at or above maintenance calories to get the most of it.

    Thanks

Well when you take mostly any aas your natural test is shutdown. So you need to replace those hormones with synthetic hormone test should be ran with all compounds in any cycle. If you run any compound without test and it will make you feel horrible. Loss of libido is one of the worst as well as limp Dick. Also diet is a key factor. You have to eat to grow. Not eat 500 below maintenance. That's not how aas works. Also look in to a pct and an ai. Do tons of research. This is your body not your car. You have to learn how stuff effects your body cuz if this stuff isn't used right it can cause serious and permanent problems. Do yourself a favor and go read and learn before you take the needle. Diet is 85% training is 10% gear is 5%. The people that don't know about aas thinks gear is the 85% but in the real world it isn't. Aas makes your body anabolic but food is what makes you grow.

Thanks for the reply. That is why I'm here asking, I rather learn from people who have used rather than articles on the net.

Okay so you're saying I won't grow eating to a 500cal deficit? Because in the past I have managed to gain LEAN muscle naturally eating at a 500cal deficit and only eating carbs (complex) pre and post workout. Eating at a calorie surplus I will gain fat, and that's the last thing I want to do, I'm after lean gains only.

And yes I know the majority of gains come from diet and I take diet very seriously, but I have known people who have lifted for years with no understanding of diet or proper training who have had minimal gains, but after jumping on AAS have gained 20lbs of muscle within a month. So without much knowledge about AAS's, seeing these results send the image to me of AAS's being effective regardless of diet. Not saying it's true, just a point i'm bringing up.

You have firsthand knowledge of their diets? And how much success did they have w/keeping those gains?

I would add that if you run more than one compound, and you have bad sides, it will be merely impossible to find out which compound is causing these sides.

Stpete brings up a very valid point. When people say they want to add muscle, generally they are not referring to temporary gains. I can gain a pound a day if I wanted to. It would not be permanent and certainly unhealthy.

Well the guy I know took dbol and ate junk, but he has a fast metabolism so is naturally lean. After he cycled he stopped lifting completely. He is still 15lbs heavier than before he cycled and this was nearly 6 months ago
