Just wondering if estrogen dominance would give rise to the same symptoms as low testosterone, lets say your T levels are within in range but your still experiencing low T symptoms?

Without queston!
We see men here where their Testosterone serum level is in an adequate/normal healthy range yet they present with elevated E2 levels...or merely disproportionate.
Elevated E2 (in absolute value or proportion) can explain hypogonadal symptoms in many cases.
If E2 is elevated, controlling serum concentrations usually with an aromatase inhibitor (AI) will help to prevent conversion of your Testosterone into E2 and that's all it may take.
BTW, stay away from Estrogen mimics such as soy or flax seed as well.
Wish I had got my E2 checked when I got my T checked the first time, endo should have done this (Silly bitch), if it had been an E2 issue from the start I would have never have started with testogel, getting E2 results end of the week along with a few others, also have an AI ordered so hopefully I can get this sorted.
Is it possible for E2 to become elevated during mid puberty?, I experienced a huge change in mood and personality around this time all for the worst which as remained since, the 6 weeks the testogel was effective I can honestly say I was back to my old self again.

The astute physician knows to check E2 levels to create a baseline before therapy is prescribed...just another Doc prescribing without knowing.
I don't don't see why it's possible not to have elevated E2 levels during puberty with pathology of course.
If you've been on Testogel for 6 weeks it's time for BW so make sure you get right panels.
See kel sticky on finding a TRT Doc and note the follow-up labs.
Post results here in this thread complete with ranges.

Cheers Devine, have some of my panels posted in a separate thread, how long does it take for an AI to kick in?
Should I keep on taking the gel if its not having any effect and just wait for the AI to arrive??

Cheers dude!
^^^these guys know what their talking about edmundo, don't crash the E, miserable!
I know fightin, haven't applied the gel in 3 day only cuz I ran out of my weekly dose, was pretty depressed before but now Its a lot worse, need to sort it out.
low T and high E was the worst feeling for me... absolute worst. was slightly better when I was high-er (still low normal) T and high E2.
point is, I would keep taking the Testosterone regardless of whether or not you have e2 control. unless you get gyno in which case it may be beneficial to cut out the T temporarily; but get some e2 control ASAP in that case.
