I watched this show a few nights ago, and it had a guy on there die from taking roids.
What kind of effect does steroids have on the heart?

Increased BP and HR. Very long term use may cause a thickening of the left ventricular wall, however risks are greater among those with a higher body fat ratio and those predisposed to cardiac events due to familial traits.
Might sound crazy but what if your definition of long term? I want to do a few cycles. I want to work my way up to test+deca+dbol
I saw that episode and it was complete and utter total BULL SHIT.
DO not believe ANYTHING you see on that show! Did you know that 95% of the stories of people's deaths on that show are based on urban legends (there's another TV show out there called Urban Legends and occasionally you'll find the EXACT SAME GOD DAMN STORIES about the same shit), and many of them are made up by the producers and writers for sensationalism, with the other 5% being a few real deaths???
I love how in that episode, they typicalize all of the stereotypes of steroid users - they show the idiot shooting his gear IN THE GYM LOCKER ROOM! Who does that? NOBODY! NOBODY DOES THAT!!!! That's a stupid stereotype slapped onto us by the general public due to their misunderstanding and ignorance caused by sensationalising by the media. They think that AAS users inject each other in locker rooms. Maybe a handful in the past did this, but this is pure nonsense to think that's the way it works! And then they show the guy having an acute death they 'claim' was caused by anabolic steroids.
I love how they show him doing the bench press machine, and he's pushing and pushing (oh and lets not forget they throw another sterotype in there - his overexaggerated grunting like a god damn moron with every rep he pushes out), until eventually he pushes one last rep to completion! AND THEN: we see him have a heart attack right there! The weight falls, and he lays there on the machine like a limp ragdoll as the retarded narrator says some stupid pun about how the guy lived his life and died from steroids. Anabolic steroids don't kill people acutely!!! And it's only so typical that a show about people dying would have at least one episode dedicated to anabolic steroids killing someone... ACUTELY!!!!
They can take that god damn show and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. And if anyone believes any one of those portrayed death stories are true - you need to STOP GETTING YOUR FACTS FROM TV!
Oh and by the way, the stupid "doctors" they like to show on that TV show during every episode where they discuss in detail what's happening to the body of the person dying - THEY ARE NOT REAL DOCTORS! They are actors, and you'll see these same idiots in other TV shows playing other roles. The producers of these TV shows take the viewers and fans of these shows as IDIOTS! Idiots that will believe anything, as long as its displayed in hi-def 1080p on a screen in their living rooms. Do a simple search on these so-called "doctors" they have on 1000 Ways To Die, and you'll find their names in actor databases, and you'll find their whole filmography!
Television is fake. And its shows like this that boil my blood!
wow I don't want any one to burst a blood vessel, but I didn't think everything on that show was true. When the doctors come on there with their little input names it sound like the truth
