passed out during after pin

was pinning test e on my delt 4 days ago, i passed out after.
i was sterile the whole time, changed needles before pinning and aspirated properly
i dont know if its an adverse effect or maybe i am just hella scared of blood (got some when i aspirated)
or maybe i was pinning too much for a small place (2.5ml). please advise as i am scheduled to pin tomorrow and now im scared. haha

Where did you pin? You wouldn't of passed out from putting too much into a site. It would just be difficult/hurt if you did that.

You said you aspirated, the only thing that has ever made me feel like I was about to pass out was when I caught a vein and injected. Instantly felt feint and uncontrollable coughing as the oil is filtered at the lungs.

I'm sure the Vets will be able to she'd more insight, my guess is that you maybe shoved all 2.5ml into a vein or something.

I passed out one time at the doctor as a kid when getting a shot. I remember I didn't like the spell of the medical office and the rubbing alcohol. Probably psychological but I always let my alcohol dry really good. When I woke up he gave me some orange juice. Maybe have a friend do the deed until you feel ready to do it again.

I've never passed out but have felt like I was going to. First was trying a quad injection...I remember being on the phone with someone and doing the shot and then right away felt like I was going under; I just dropped the phone and went to lie down until the feeling went away. It was like instant cold sweats and weakness.

Second time was when I let someone else pin my delt; I had a boyfriend who used and one day got the bright idea that "we should pin each other." I don't think he did anything wrong but it's always different when someone else has control of the needle.

Third time was, again, trying the quads. Felt sick and had to lie down.

So for me it's not blood; I think it's when the pain is more than I expected, which always happens with quads.

It was just due to the drop in blood pressure due to the nervousness when you saw blood and the your body reaction to injections. You probably are normally nervous but when seeing blood it dropped it even further.

Its called vasovagal syncope.

The decreased blood pressure means less blood to the vagus nerve which will cause one to pass out

You get used to it over time. When I first started pinning again about 6 months ago after a ten year break. I was sweating before each shot and it took me like 15 minutes to finish. Now its 123 and I am done. Yesterday I must have nicked a vein and when I pulled out I had a nice shot of blood flew down my arm.


I aspirated so I knew I was fine. I was just like holy shit that was something else. Cleaned myself up and went back to watching football. If that happened 6 months ago I probably would have passed out with my head falling into the bowl. you get better at it like anything else with practice

I've hit knicked nerves and instantly felt like I was going to passout. That was the first time I was trying to do my glutes on my own. I don't do my glutes anymore unless somebody does um for me.

I have also passed out from pinning shoulder. But i did just train shoulders and was still pumped n decided to pin shoulder cuz i was in a hurry n forgot.
Im not a big fan of pinning anyway so i guess pinning into an inflamed muscle was not a good idea lol.

after i aspirated i just pulled out a little and continued pinning. worst feeling. hella scared now, think imma get my buddy to pin me till i end my cycle

yeah i also worked shoulders an hour prior pinning. i think that also affected me lol
