Did my first pin past thursday. right delt, went smooth but it has been sore since then. Did my left delt today and as soon as my buddy took the pin out, there was a ton of blood, almost covered up the whole alc swab, but my delt is not sore at all.
Any1 know whats up with that?

ton of blood? did you aspirate? if so, what happened? ive had this happen but not a "ton" of blood.

If you aspirated properly then you probably just nicked or passed through a vein on the way to your proper depth. Your G2G. A bit disconcerting though..

Yeah aspirated. It wasn't a ton, but i mean it was enough to leave a huge circle of blood on my small square alcohol swab. first injection there was little no no blood.

yeah as Kel said, no worries. as long as the syringe didn't turn dark on you. a little bit of blood in the syringe with bubbles is ok.

Small thing to note but make sure the alcohol is dry.
Alcohol is an anticoagulant and it can cause some bleeding in men if the site is still wet when the injection is performed.
Some are over responders and bleed a bit like you stated and others it won't do a thing...we're all different.

Happens to me sometimes. No big deal. Thing that bothers me the most is never knowing how much gear comes out with it! Lol

For reasons like this I tend to hold the pin in for a few after injecting before pulling it out.

I've had some 2 swabbers. Not a problem if the aspiration went well.
