got my hCG from overseas and!

Well I got my hCG but it's in an ampule! I never used ampule before and not sure how to break it without getting glass particles in the mix. Also came with 1ml water, which is fine but I have to transfer it to another vial. Can I use my old vial or do they sell empty ones?

You can use an old vial and they do sell empty ones as well...check research sites if you want.

I just use the square alcohol swab package, I open it and slip it over it and crack it. Never had an issue getting glass (if any) through the pin. You can get sterile vials from AR-R super cheap.

Thanks guys, I was more concerned about how to break the ampule, I remember seeing a little saw used just to score the glass then snap it. Is this necessary? Also, I think I'll just fill my syringes instead of transferring it to a vial.

The way I do it, look for the dot on the vial,have this facing you then in your left hand and just push with your thumb on the right hand and it snaps of clean.

If you wanna be cautious get one of the wife's nail files and score it.... then one of those cheap round bic pens...the cap slides right over the top of amp. Gives u extra leverage and it breaks right off

I would not suggest using your thumb. While this will work fine with a decent ampoule in my experience the amps they use for HCG are anything but decent. I cut my thumb several times which was no biggie except for blood dripping into the amp once LOL.

I took a 3/8th drill and made a hole in a piece of wood to snap the caps with.
