First of all I just want to apologize for the length of info I am about to post, after the last 6 years I have to say I have not gotten any results with my treatment. However after joining here a short while ago I did as most all of you veterans suggest, READ.. This has been the best way to learn and understand the situations that I am experiencing.
I will give a short description as to why I have lerarned where I am and my cuurent stats
Age- 34
Weight 180lbs
Height 5'-8"
Active work days, am fasted cardio 3 days aweek and 4 days a week on bow flex and AB ripperX.
back in January of 2006 at the spunk age of 28, I experienced my first ED issue. Not the norm at this age as I was a raging hormone as most of us guys are at that age. Over the next 4 months the issue only got worse so to the doctor I went. So get the old physical done and some blood work pulled and he tests for the following:

Full Comp Metabolic Panel, CBC, Platelet, Lipid Panel,Testosterone serum 425ng/dL range 241-827, Free Test direct 15.5 pg/mL range 9.3-26.5, TSH 0.964 uIU/mL range 0.350-5.500, and Sex Horm Binding Glob, serum 15 nmol/L range 13-71.

Now so as it would be doctor throws me some Viagra and sends me onmy way. At this age not knowing that things could be going south on me, it was cool to have a script for viagra.
Doctor orders regular blood work check ups to mointor most things just not test again
9-11-06 blood work Comp Meatbolic and LP-- ALL OK

12-12-06 blood work Comp Meta, LP, homocyst(e)ine,plasma and C-Reative Protien Cardiac, ALL OK

3-13-07 Comp Meta, LP, hemoglobin alc.Doctor figures I'm good and I figure I'm just the way Im gonna be.

9-13-10 ED issues are getting worse, energy low, no motivation ask for blood work
9-13-10 Comp Meat, LP ---- called him and reminded him I wanted Test checked---

9-24-10 CBC, Comp Meat, Test serum- 245L ng/dL range 280-800-
Free direct Test 5.3Lpg/mL range 8.7-25.1,
TSH 1.510 uIU/mL range .450-4.5, prolactin 6.7ng/mL range 4.0-15.2,
sex horm binding glob,serum 13.6Lnmol/L range 14.5-48.4
So at this point he puts me on Androgel, 1 pack 5gm of 1% a day.

Retest 1-12-11 Test serum 249ng/dl range 249-836
So he bumps me to 2 packs of 1% a day.

4-14-11 retest CBC with differtial and platelet, Comp Meat, test serum 779ng/dL range 249-836
Looks good right, ya few weeks go by and I call him and say I just dont feel like anything has changed I should feel better right???

5-25-11 CBC with diff and platelet, Comp Meta, Thyroxine(t4) Free Direct 1.32ng/dL range 0.82-1.77, test serum 350ng/dL range 249-836, TSH 1.39 uIU/mL range .450-4.5, sedimentation rate-westergen 1mm/hr range 0-15.
Tells me I'm good and things will fell better soon. ya not so much same drag down feeling as before.

9-13-11 Test serum 299 ng/dL range 249-836 --- says its good

10-19-11 LP, Comp Meat, Test total serum 259 ng/dL range 348-1197

4-17-12 LP, Glucose, test serum--- My bad forgot to not put gel on before test, >1500.... Well at least I know there is something it there...

In the mean time I find this forum and proceed to read everynight since I joined. --- Dont mean to get off subject but, WOW it is amazing how forth coming with knowledge you all are.. It is just great to see such effort put forth to each other with out hesitation!! This is why I am spilling my last few years of crappy health out to people I wouldnt even know if you walked past me, and I am not even one to talk about myself for any resaon, never mind typr on a FORUM... Just reading your posts have made me feel confident in the way you all respond to people... Alright so back on subject, I do as I read and I email the only 2 compunding pharmacies I can find in my state.. and get a list of doctors the pharmacist knows of that handles compunds such as Testosterone and HCG and aromatsing inhibitors. The phone call proceed. I met with one last month, she does seem nice and at the cost of the visit I did just as you all suggest and stop her mid run on hersell of her natural pills and herbs and inform her of where I have been and where I am at and where I want to be and the items I think would best benifit me. So she does agree with testing for items such as estrogen, free T, total t, estridol( I guess lab corp in NH does not have sensitive essay) DHEA, T3,T4

So as you can see even after 2 years of 2 packs aday of 1% androgel not good. I am assuming that due to the prolonged HRT the testes have gone into shut down causing the lower levels of Test and the crash of FSH and LH.
I went to my regular doctor 10-2-12 and let him know I was not happy with how I am feeling and that I had seen another doctor for tests-- did not have results as of yet but let him know I wanted to go to injections andneed to introduce HCG and monitor estrogen. He agreed on injections, Test Cyp 200mg or 1ml every 2 weeks to start, I told him I wanted to do shots weekly to avoid crashing every 2 weeks. he agreed. Also allowed me to self administer at home, the HCG and estrogen is where it stops with him, he agreed to prescribe and monitor if the other doctor with more speciaty in those compunds would advise, seeing she is not in network for insurance and he is. So yesterday I got my first shot of test cyp 1/2ml or 100mg.
Any advise is welcome and thoughts for proper levels.
Thanks in advance and again so sorry for the extra long post, but do have to say I feel better about where I am going now and have many of you to thank for laying down the tools for me to use.

Wow, long story bro.

Looks like you have had a hell of a time. Stay on the injections. Start injecting 1/2 a dose twice a week if you crash on day 5 or 6. 50mg a week is half of what I started out with, most guys start out with 100mg a week. After 6 weeks of injections go get your bloodwork again. Check T, Free T, E2 at minimum. Don't worry about HCG or an AI just yet, your balls wont shrink in 6 weeks unless you are > 40. After the bloodwork at 6 weeks you can see where your E2 is and then figure out if you need an AI.

Ya he wanted to strat me low not knowing where my levels were at, I will forward him the results from the 25th and see if he wants to up my dose early.. as for the shrinkage, that happened little over a year now, hoping when I get on HCG they will return to normal..

Anyone have any thoughts as to the possibilty of vasectomy causing these issues to form, the low t and such??

These are tanked because you are in HPTA suppression. Running transdermals that long you would need to be restarted...if you could...to get these back functioning. These should have been tested a long time ago BEFORE you started taking exogenous testosterone.

Was this a Sensitive assay? Still, it looks fine, tad suppressed...but fine.

Supplement 50mg of micronized DHEA and 5000 units of D3 each morning.

So yesterday I got my first shot of test cyp 1/2cc or 50mg.

A somewhat low dose so have some realistic expectations of results.

Your Thyroid looks fine as well.

Vasectomy's don't cause Hypogonadism.

So many things can suppress the androgen pathway and well trained Doc would have done more testing early on to conduct a proper diagnosis.

With all of this I still can't tell if you are Primary or Secondary to be honest.

BTW, if you can go back and edit your OP and break up the paragraphs and list your panels instead of burying them in the text it would make it so much easier to read. Long posts packed with a lot of information like this that are difficult to read will get a low response from the guys.

Thanks for your input and taking the time to read my long winded post.. I did find the sensetive estrogen and listed them on the last tests that were done.

So you suggest getting my DHEA and Vit D higher, I looked up what DHEA is since you suggestd this and find that kinda wierd also. I did a saliva test the day after the blood work to check test, melatonin, and cortisol levels, I wont have those results until I go back to the Naturopath on the 15th of this month. But it would make sense if the DHEA is too low then there shouldnt be an access of Cortisol.?

As far as expectations I know that this is a low dose and I prefer to start this way as I have seen by others experiences here it is easier to start low than rush the start and have to throw other items to combat problems.

And primary secondary, not really understanding this comment.. If you need other test results or levels just ask as I could not possibly list every test that was done there are soo many I think this last run of tests she honestly took five large vials felt like I was donating blood.

Still here, second injection tomorrow, this will be my first as the last one or my first was done by nurse at doctor office. Still not sure if I want to try thigh or let the boss lady try giving me one in the glute.. Guess Ill know in the am.
