Test flu

Hey guys I posted my test flu experience in the HRT section but seems only guys doing cycles seem to be familiar with it so I'm asking here. I started with 50 mg gel test flu started two weeks later couple of weeks after that my entire face and breathing passage started to swell up to a point where I had difficulty breathing, tried three different brands of gel same thing, then switched to test C and the day after injection it knocked me flat out for a week, now Iv been on test E 150 mg for the past seven weeks still have test flu but not as severe as it was before only in that before was pretty much torture.

Everyday I'm sweating, heat on full blast but I'm freezing, running a fever at times, from my experience I would say its due to the hormonal changes more they an allergic reaction as the test flu gets worse weekly as the T-injections build up week after week and Iv been told once T-levels become stable hormonal changes are over thus no more flu but I'm sceptical, only thing Iv found effective for test flu is ibprofen but only treats the symptoms in the short term.

I'm in HRT strictly for the well being benefits and giving it up simply isn't in option for me but at the same time I can't live with the test flu so I really don't know wtf to do

Any thoughts or feedback?

So you've been sick for 10+ weeks? I was originally going to ask you if you knew what type of oil is your tests, but you've had symptoms from the gel as well.

I can only tell you what i would do, and that would be to get to my doc's and find out what's going on. That's too long to be going around w/those symptoms.

Cheers dude Im really just trying to tough it out if it doesnt stop within the next two weeks im done, yes Iv considered the oils as the problem, test c was cotten and test e is seseme seed, think the gels were also cotton.

10+ weeks for test flu.. I'm thinking not bro.. It was in and out in a matter of days for me. Sounds like your body is rejecting something. Like stpete said.. Get to the DR ASAP..

nobody should have any type of flu for 10 weeks, that is certainly an extraordinary situation and would recommend immediate consultation with dr. no point in waiting 2 more weeks.

Are you guys 100% sure that test flu does not last this long?, is it something that just comes and goes in the beginning?

I had this for 5 months when I was on gel so thinking it was an allergic reaction to maybe the cotton seed oil, I changed to test E which I'm on now and that has sesame seed oil but still getting the same reaction.

If I can completely rule out the possibility of test flu then its just a matter of trying out different esters/oils.

I would go to my doctor first if there was anything he could actually do but I doubt it.

From what I have read and personally experienced, I have never heard of a test flu lasting this long.. It obviously has something linked to the aas so I would stop and run a proper pct. if it still doesn't go away after that I'd see the doc.

Would I really need to run a pct? its just 150 mg for 7 weeks its hrt not a cycle.

I'm not educated on HRT enough to make that call.. I'm sure some of the vets on here will be able to make a more reliable recommendation. I know once you introduce test into your body at level that supersede you natty levels it shuts you down. Again, let the pros help ya with this one bro! Best of luck with it!!

There is no way possible its the test flu Bro... ot for 10 weeks... your blood level should be stable after a few weeks (depending on esthers and ones body) but definately not 10 weeks.. I can see a STRECTH at 5 weeks and that is rare.. even with test c or e you should be stable after 2-3 1/2 ish weeks.. you need a different plan Bro.. id consider going to the doc or yes pct.. if your taking 150mg a week of test the actual # in your your body after the ester will be about 100ish a week... a healthy male only produces 50-75 mg a week which means it is very possible your body is fully shut down after 150mg per week... you can take the chance and not pct and prob feel worse then u do now or play as safe as possible and pct imo Good Luck and keep us posted

Agreed they might see it as abuse and be more hesitant to perscribe you trt/hrt if its needed imo.... good luck

Cheers for all the feed back guys great forum, today would have been my 8th week shot and just as I decide to stop the flu seems to have died down which could mean serum levels have become stable so if I stop now the past 7 weeks of test flu hell were for nothing, could try one more week just to be sure and if not then Im done with this, my doctor knows Im doing hrt but doesnt agree...as of writing this there is zero flu.

Happy to hear... keep us posted either way cause this is a pretty akward case if its your blood still balancing as it should of been balanced by the 4-5 week max but everyone is different right... keep us posted I'm interested to c how it turns out for you.. good luck and hopefully your right and you are stable now...

Nope nothing to do with serum stability, ordering deca tomorrow, Read other posts on the subject and in the end it was a reaction to the gear so fingers crossed Ill be fine with deca, 24 hrs off trt and feeling depressed/pissed off already.
