Hi guys!
I posted a thread here a few months back about my low test levels. I was about about 236 ng/dl at the time. When I further dug into the situation and did a full hormonal profile, pretty much everything was normal EXCEPT these...
Serum/total/free etc test
Prolactin. Prolactin was in the 380s!!! I got an MRI done and they found a small tumor on my pituitary but the doc said it won't grow so surgery is not necessary. They also did an ultrasound on my testes and they were normal.
I was put on Bromocriptine 5 mg a day and Test Enanthate 200mg/week.
Now my question is...
Since the hyperprolactin is causing my test levels to be low (from feedback loop) wouldn't it be better to JUST treat the prolactin and not take the test? It makes sense...
low prolactin -> test inhibition will stop -> body naturally produces normal test.
Instead, what I'm stuck with is this.
1.) Bromocriptine- I told the doc to give me cabergoline and she said "try this first" and I took it for 2 days and stopped because I threw up and passed out when I took the med.
2.) Test E. without hcG, seriously? I'm 22 and this is a perfect way to mess me up for good.
What do you guys think?
