Asking is what's a GOOD example of a keto diet?v

Why do you wish to run a keto diet specifically?

Because bro I'm currently on test prop/NPP/clen cycle and I'm looking to get my body fat % from 12% down to about 8-9% and heard keto is excellent for this. Plus I know running for 2 weeks is generally what people do and if clen Is run for 2 weeks I was goin to combine the two.

We'll bro! Keto is hard work. And if you lift, it would need to be cyclical (carb loading) to prevent muscle breakdown. Your workouts should also be altered to take into account the depletion of carbs as the week progresses.

I've never heard of anybody running keto for only 2 weeks only for an extended period period of time.

You should have absolutely no problem getting sub 10% with a normal calorie deficit (even with keto you need a calorie deficit) and some cardio.

I've done keto. It works. But I found it extremely hard work. Have you looked into carb cycling?

I'll dig out TOP's thread on keto for you to read through.

agree with stem here. u dont need keto to get below 10%bf, as a matter of fact i have done CKD style diets and they only got me to around 12% whereas cycling carbs EOD + fasting have gotten sub 10% and still going.

staying in ketosis for extended periods of time IMO is a bad idea if ur lifting weights. ur body needs those carbs. IMO u would fare better to limit carbs to pre-workout (which is what i do) and stay without carbs the rest of the time.

also fasting is good as well (also what i do). ive gone from 13.1% down to 9.9% in 7weeks running only TRT dose test. lost no LBM. still dropping fat.

Fasting: abstaining from ingesting any calories at all for a specified duration of time.

    Aka: not eating

Doesn't not eating make ur body store fat like sorta go into survival mode because it doesn't know when your going to eat next?

u sure u want to ask that question in light of the last sentence in post # 6??

noticed i said fasting "for a specified duration of time".. fasting is actually very good to do for a number of reasons..

makes ur body more efficient in utilizing body fat for fuel

    increases insulin sensitivity

helps u keep daily cals in chek and still get to eat large meals..

affords u the freedom to venture into food choices that would ordinarily be out of the question from time to time without it affecting ur progress negatively IMO..
