Then if you have questions post it up in the HRT Forum and will dissect it for you. Colitis plays into all of this. If definitly effects how your body absorbs nutrients and inflames your bowels. TRT/corticosteroids are used as treatment for this.
If your doc doesn't recognize this you need to find one who is a bit more astute. Colitis is similar in effect to Chrones (sp) disease and needs to be treated. Consider supplementing with DHEA (25mg) micronized (LEF.com has it) as if it's not micronized it doesn't really survive the first pass through the liver. DHEA is a precurser to T and will help. As will D3 so start with that as well IMO, maybe 5k a day until you learn your level and then adjust. Most everyone is low in this arena. Fish oil as well would be good.
Next BW get both tested. Vit D 25 Hyrdoxy and DHEA-S.
