HCG-have scrip but hie to get?

Dr. gave me scrip for Hcg, 600 U twice a week. But how and where do I get it? Insurance won't cover it (Cigna) and calls to local pharmacies all average price over $1600 for about 2 months supply.
Cigna did say they would cover it under "medical" if I got the injections at the doctors office. that might work but very inconvenient.
Any suggestions on legit online and cheaper sources or how to get insurance to cover? The prior authorization was denied.

Check some local compounding pharmacies. Average $70 for 11,000IUs HCG.

Called local Costco pharm. and quoted me $203 Novarel 10000 U.
Does this sound right? If my scrip is for 600 Units 2 times a week is there a better unit strength to get, like maybe Pregnyl at 5000 units. I understand that after mixing it's good for about 30 days in fridge.

I mix and prefer 5000iu vials at a time since this will last a good 6 weeks. Just get the cheapest as you can always freeze some syringes to make them last longer if needed.

just fwiw...im near denver.. nova is about 180 bucks/ month.i cant afford that ... my low t center recommended a local compounding pharmacy . my cost for 7000 iu was $32 today.

if you have an ''A&P supermarket'' ask them if they can order you pregnyl. The pharmacy here ordered it for me, and with a coupon it was 80 bucks for 10k units. I had no luck with compounding pharmacies...they wanted to give me novarel for 220, and so did walgreens. Other places wanted to give me nothing. One pharmacy was going to give me app for 200 bucks but i heard it was not as good as novarel or pregnyls.

pregnyl lasts for 60 months as opposed to 30. If someone injects 250iu 3x per week that is 750 per week. If you use pregynl for 9 weeks(2 months) you will have used 6750

so yeah i guess you are right...but the real thing is, pregnyl lasts 2 months for 80 bucks, vs yours is only good for 6 weeks for 65..unless it's pregnyl.

Man what happened in the last few years? HCG used to be around 25-30 for 5000 units. I have found it in bulk in the past for as little as 10 per 5000 units if you bought 10 vials at a time which has been fine. But I only have 2 left and I've been looking around and like others have stated some are charging as much as 60 for 5000 units which is a ripoff. WTF happened?

My clinic charges $100 for 11,000 ui. Comes bac water and fill syringe.

Fortunately my insurance is covering HCG 100% through their online pharmacy, so they mail it to me; I met my deductible due to surgery last January. Not only that but they were happy to switch me over to Novarel from the generic APP. They're also willing to go with 30 day refill due to the short life span of this stuff in the fridge.

HCG is used by people other than us on TRT at a low dosage. It is prescribed at several thousands IUs a week for many people, thus the larger dosed vials. Once reconstituted it lasts 8 weeks at most and I can tell the difference in potency after 6.

With insurance I only pay $45 but if its cheaper to get the larger vial and throw some of it away...by all means.

Cigna, through a large insurance co. here in Cincinnati. Doctor has to submit a "prior authorization" to justify prescribing hcg.
