The Price of Gear, Crazy !

I ordered some gear from a work buddy that is a solid guy, however, something is going on with him, he hasn't returned txts, answered his voicemail, he's not like this normally so something has happened. His price for the gear I wanted was $xxxAfter two weeks of silence I called another option, his price was $xxx a difference of about a third higher. I then called a good friend who has someone he deals with. Same gear, $xxx only 55-60% of first . All I can say is wtf?? Am I the only one that experiences shit like this ? (in before ; you get what you pay for)

prices do vary alot. Depends how down the food chain you are and how greedy the people above you are
