1st Pec IM injection--do I do it right?

Today, I did my 1st Pec injection of Testoviron Depot (a time-released Test) which has a thick oil viscosity.

Contrary to other opinions, the pecs should be pinned NEAR the middle of the chest, NOT in the upper, outer chest.

In fact, at least on me, the upper outer part of the chest (near the shoulders) has branches of noticeable veins.

I pinned myself there as recommend in the diagram of the link below (please see below).

The closer to the middle part of the chest, the more shallow it was--almost like the bottom part of a "V".

I injected with Testoviron Depot the left pec closer to the middle, it was more shallow & less beefy so it kind of hurt putting the needle in slowly.

The right pec, I injected with Deca & more away from the middle of the chest.

It seemed since it was more away & therefore in the beefier part of the V valley, there was less pain.

    Question:
Is it suggested to pin a little more away from the exact mid-part of the chest to avoid as much pain since that area is more beefy than closer to the exact mid-part of the chest which is less beefy, more shallow, & thus more painful?

(As an aside, aspiration was easy, when I pulled back on the plunger to aspirate, I saw a couple of bubbles but no blood, then I pushed down on the plunger and released the medicine into the muscle)

Link of diagram for exact locations of pec IM injections.

Thanks. Hopefully, this is a benefit to others.

Do you have anything that says why it benefits to pin closer to the inner chest then outer chest besides the below diagram?

I've been doing upper outer chest for a while now with no sides or problems.

    No. other than the diagram:

--there was one video of a guy on youtube if you put in "pec injection" in the youtube search field.

he's wearing a herringbone gold chain & injects his chest at an angle, I guess to show how to aspirate cos ur really supposed to hit the needle directly, not at an angle.

i guess to each his own, im going to go in the middle part.

but I'll pin more in the beefy part cos the shallower part is painful.

im using a 1 inch needle.

    everybody's different.

    thanks for your input.

The good question is what is the max cc injection with respect to each site of a reasonably muscular, and bf person?

Id say just about every muscle can handle at least a cc if you are above 200lbs. I put 1cc in each bicep and/or tricep all the time. Glutes and quads 3cc. 1.5cc in lats. Personally my Delts can't handle more than 1.5cc, but I know plenty who do 2 or more.
