    Taking 2-3 weeks off help!!!

    During my cycle of test e and Deca I hurt my right tricep muscle that connects to the shoulder straining myself on some dumbbell bench press... I was literally mid cycle... 5 weeks later it is still killing me when I do anything with the tricep... I've been taking ibuprofen and icy hot just to get through my workouts... Now that I am pct would it really be bad if I didn't lift upper body for a few weeks to let it heal???

    You need to lay off it unless you can lift LIGHT (20lbs) without it hurting. You are going to continue to damage it. Use ice on it to reduce the inflammation. I know icyhot feels good but it's not helping.

    Your really should go get an MRI to make sure you did not rip anything. It's common and taht is one of the downfalls of cycle. People lift heavy and get injured especially when you are young and not ready to cycle. It's more important to lift properly; form than lifting heavy. You can slow down and the weight will feel a lot heavier. No need to try to max out every workout. Working to failure does not mean MAX weight. Proper warmup is a must also.

    Start the ice today and doctor tomorrow.
