    Anavar YEAR ROUND???

I just watched a video on the homepage of this site.. Jose Canseco on steroids. He stated that you could remain on anavar year round and get good lean, hard mass gains. (5lb/month is what i think he said.) Anyone have any input on taking anavar year round? I'm sure it would be a huge toll on the wallet.

X2 still pretty new to the anabolics side of things but the toll on your liver would be severe i'm guessing.

Anavar will still shut you down. And to be able to afford var all year would be impressive. Gotta remember it was made for HIV patients and most of the stuff floating around is probably fake.

Edit* could be wrong but I remember reading that they only make it once a year.

The information you're likely referring to are studies that have been done with low doses of Anavar on people who were burn victims. I believe there are also some studies have been done on AIDS victims.

But these doses are very low and not conducive to amounts typically used for cycles to build mucsle in 8-12 wks.

I would not recommend this at all.

With all due respect, Mr. Conseco is NOT an authoritative reference/source, and only provides anecdotal stories for our entertainment. There are many here that probably know considerably more on the subject than Mr. Conseco.

The problem with year round var is that it will:

    1) suppress your natty test production
    2) impact your libido and possibly expose you to the risk of ED in the long term
    3) expose you to the risk of other sides such as increase RBC, cholestoral, etc.

with any anabolic, your body needs breaks. Most orals should only be ran for four weeks. With var, due to being mild, you can run longer. I've ran 6 weeks, and many have ran 8 weeks, maybe even a little longer.

Please do not consider running var year round!

Let me know if you need more info?

My lipids took a big hit on Var. I'm going to try it again in late spring, but will be monitoring blood closely.

Just like everyone else said. I would be much more concerned about the toll on my liver then on my wallet....Although var is considered mild it is never the less still hepatoxic

Times Roman got it covered. that said... I wouldn't run anything year round aside from TRT (assuming you're a patient).

Yeah, as you guys said, I thought that it would shut down your system. I've told many people this before when they say they want to only take anavar (that they should be taking it with test). And taking anything year round just sounds like a bad idea. I just wanted the input of some experts, because in listening to canseco, you can kinda tell he is not an expert and doesnt know as much as he should lol. Thanks for all of your input.

Anavar is one of the most gentle steroids for the liver. It will really depend on the dosage that you have in mind. Its used continuously to combat those experiencing wasting syndrome at 20mg/day. I hope that you are not experiencing the latter.
