Don't want my testicles to shrivel

Hey guys new here and first real post. I found this site the other day and have been reading up and educating myself. Also making myself worried. I am a 41 yo and been on hrt for a year. Injecting depo-testosterone originally prescribed 200mg eow, however changed that to 100mg oaw two months ago. So I started noticing a slight tugging pain in my testicles and seems as though my scrotum doesn't hang quite as loosely. Started googling those symptoms and ended up here.
Dr never talked to me about hcg or ai. Or about the fact that my boys could become useless. Any suggestions on how to proceed considering my dosage?
    I'm 6' 189 lbs. lean muscular

Whether she will prescribe it or not you need to start the HCG. Read the sticky at the top about it. It will explain all you need to know about it. My doc wouldn't even talk about it, so I just started my own protocol with it.

Your boys are very well useless at this point lol, but if fertility is not important to you then it's of little-to-arguable consequence. The testes do provide other functions than simply sperm production, but we cannot fully restore testes function (as of now) when someone goes on TRT.

There are options to make them fuller, such as HCG. But HCG itself is hit or miss as to how it makes people feel. After a year, though, I would think your testes size has pretty much stabilized.

An AI will do nothing for testes size on TRT.

So can testes become functional again if we go off trt?
And if so is there a procedure to going off it?

Yes the testis can become functional with HCG, Clomid and/or Nolvadex. The usually procedure is to totally come off trt and use clomid and/or nolvadex with HCG until impregnation.

Stabilized after one year? If true, that's good news. I'm one year into treatment and no sign of shrinkage. Treated with pellets only.

While I respect the contributions of HRT in our forum I am going to take a different position here; HCG is not just about keeping your testicles "fuller".

First and foremost, read the sticky on HCG at the top of the forum as it will tell you all you need to know.

HCG is an LH analog; meaning that it act the same way physiologically as LH and therefore the testes will biologically respond accordingly.

HCG, by many practitioners, is considered a neuro-hormone and has many befits beyond just keeping the testes functioning properly.

Read the sticky and do some additional reading; especially the papers published by Dr. John Crisler on HCG and you will learn why this peptide is critical to a complete TRT protocol.

I had to go this route too
