    Bizarre thought

    Anyone ever think of this...
Okay so you look at the bottom of the pages and you can see what members are viewing what thread and how many guest are viewing as well...

from time to time I see 5 members and 21,763 guests viewing a particular forum...

Before I became a member I would read different post and think of each member as a character

like so so is the trt guru or this person is mr know it all or this person is the class act anyhow
do you ever wonder if the millions of people who view this place think of us as character as well or personas so to speak... Or did you think like that before you became a member?

if not what did you think...

Considering the ratio of members to guests...then "active" members to guests, its def. like being in a fishbowl! I'm sure to some it is like watching a SOAP.

I was a watcher for quite a while. This is a very bold and frowned upon topic.

Some days I wonder WTF am I doing openly posting this kind of shit. Yet, it doesn't really matter. I don't have a LE job of any form and never will. So, I don't see this being a "real" issue.

But, the watcher population is nuts. Starting the sauce is a huge leap in today's society. Yet, the reality of it is that it is the only supplement that works. Nothing more and nothing less. It will not transform you into something you are not. Yet, people think it will. I did for the longest time. I was expecting to juice become something from a few shots. Now I know it's nothing like that at all.

never really thought of it that way. never even knew this place existed until my kid pointed it out. so i did some reading, and had a few questions. signed up so i could do some asking. then i realized some of us are a bunch of freaking clowns having a good time as well. so i kinda fit in and started posting.....

I was thinking about that too. It's interesting because watching from the side lines you learn a lot... Don't get me wrong this def helps a lot of people. I have no regrets becoming a member... I feel closer to some of the members here than in my so called waking life...

Its just interesting from watching versus actually getting to know the people here... You think so differently. At least for me. It's something I've thought about a lot lately. Being here has def changed my life for the better.

Its such a forbidden topic yet the world is so interested. That's why I said we are like little characters to people all over the world. They are learning from our experiences and conversations (that's how I learned everything, I def didn't pick up my information from a textbook) and utilizing it in their lives...

I remember being on here day and night just reading. Always something interesting, something new to learn. From just learning how to diet to different works out cycling and so forth. This forum has helped me every step of the way and my lifestyle is completely different to me looks... Then I grew a pair and was like why not dive in...

Now its a whole different ball game but a good one

Almost a year and a half... At first I just came here to look at diets and recipes... I was looking more into a wholistic lifestyle.
then I started getting interested in workout routines. And I caught myself looking more and more. By June last year I was frequenting this site and interested in aas and peptide use.... I checked out other sites but they weren't the same.

Then I saw girly all over the place and I honestly was interested in a lot she had to say... She's always asking questions and a lot of them I had.... At that point I was like clearly this information is good, it works and I like the lifestyle

    one other thought.

for me, being on here regular helps to keep me motivated. pretty hard sitting here telling others about diet/exercise if I can't get my big lazy butt out the recliner and down to the gym. I've been pretty dedicated these last few years. Not saying i couldn't pull it off with out the board, because I certainly have in the past. but in a way, it makes going to the gym just a little bit easier, especially when you feel a little "off".

So true I feel exactly the same way being around like minded females helps too... I don't know any females that like going to the gym the way i do. So having friend here to bs with like twits, girly, BMW, and kit is fun for me because we all like the same stuff

I agree. at my gym, there are really only a small handful of females that are really into it. the rest just go to be with their man, or aerobics.

there is this one female that is very low BF, very defined, striated muscles more than mine. and now she's slowly getting bigger too

or this other one that comes in, and only seems to do deads/squats or c&j's. that's all she does! she's pretty young still, and now is coaching other men on technique, as her's is really down to a science. her form is very good to look at.

those are the top two females in my gym. there are a few others that are dedicated, but just haven't put in the years of effort like these two have.

and then there's the crowd that will hit the cardio for 30 minutes, hit the hip adductions, then the hip abductions, and then talk to the fellas for 20 minutes before leaving.

nothing wrong with that, certainly not.

just different goals than what i have....

I guess the motivation factor is somewhat nice. It really is a fact that the fitness crowd is a minority, specially in some places more than others. It also seems that there is even a smaller percentage of females who are into serious fitness.

Been thinking about this for a bit. I been getting the feeling of who gives a shit quite a bit lately. Yet, I am still pulling through so far.

Fat piles are today's standard. I wish I got a dollar for every retarded fitness question I get from people who know nothing other than just eating a see food diet.

I agree with roman. I have been slipping on my diet and being active keeps me from getting too far gone. Like Electra I have one friend who workouts but she doesn't lift.

All of this really still brings me back to the "real" question. Why we do what we do?

Is it to be different? Is to feel better about ourselves? The best answer for myself is to have something on the next guy.

But, it's still interesting since there is no real answer.

We all have a different reason...
some to improve and feel better about themselves some to compete and use it as an aid and for leverage over opponents some to experiment some who want to try something different some who feel its healthier some who feel they need it... Everyone's reason is different

Unless we compete it does seems quite pointless at times. Yet, being one of the sheeple doesn't seem to cool to me.

well for myself it feels very good to walk around at 10% or less bf all the time! vascularity feels good. those veins swollen with blood! tight skin.. nothing jiggles when i jump up and down! clothes fitting hasnt been a problem for so long i dont even remember what its like! plus people treat u better.. i had a guy today ask me just today when the competition was! LOL..

my pursuit to 6% which didnt happen (maybe next year when i am cycling and introduce t3 and tren to the mix) i definitely questioned whether it was worth it. the suffering and deprivation was cumulative and continuous.. whew.. it was tuff! it took me about 3 weeks for the hunger to subside after i switched to maintenance!

This is like trying to find out why certain people like some foods and others don't. What is one man's delicacy is monkey poo to another. For me? It's to get back the health I once had and because I'm an endorphin junky. I love the way exercising/training makes me feel. Do I need any other reason? No. Do you? Only if you think you do.
