Thread: Week five of a test only 12 week cycle?

    Hey guys, I'm into week 5 of a 12 week cycle and still haven't noticed any results at all. I'm taking 400 MG of test cyp a week split into two shots.

    So far zero weight gain, zero strength gain, and zero change in Lobito. As far as my diet I am taking in 500 cals over maintance. And I am doing a 5 x 5 workout four times a week. Since I have a prescription the test is pharmaceutical grade. Does anyone think there is a problem RMI just being impatient?

    As a note I am typically on 120 MG a week for my HRT therapy. I have been doing this for about a year and really haven't seen any differences As far as muscle development. Hence the reason for trying my first blast.

    Currently I'm 46 5 foot 6, 168 pounds and 12% body fat. Never have done AAS Before now, but did try some prohormones back in the day with no results. I have been lifting weights since I was about 16.

    Ok........... So your normal TRT amount of test to get you to "normal" levels is 120mg a week and your "Blast" as you say is 400 mg a week..

    I dont think your going to see sudden results on this blast.........what you should be looking for is that extra rep or two on your normal routine, maybe you recover alittle faster, but your not suddenly gonna be benching 50 extra pounds.

    Wait for another wk or so. Often guys wont respond until wk 6, or even later on rare occasions.

    Do you trust your source?

    Thats what I thought too MK, then I reread thread and he's using his script test..........gotta be good

    Test Cyp is a long ester. Even longer then Test E. Test E takes about 4 weeks to "kick-in". Test Cyp will take a little longer. Be patient it'll come. Test Cyp's normally a 14 week cycle.

    Im just nearing the end of a 10 week test e cycle.... 500mg per week.... 5 days a week in the gym every week.. I have noticed consistent strength gains each week I have put on about 17lb.... Not all muscle of course... i got a nice bit of fat gain... but with regards to my muscles looking bigger i can say im not overly impressed... i put on less than 1/2 an inch on my biceps ( and that could just be water weight for all i know)... Some people say they get amazing gains doing test etc... but i must not be one of them..

    Thanks for your input Papa. That is right I am considering this a blast off of my normal TRT protocol. I was hoping for better results than you described. I plan to finish and see where I am at.

    As I mentioned, I am at 5 weeks and I am currently waiting for some labs I had drawn yesterday by a private lab. Checking to make sure my E2 is ok… as part of my cycle I am taking .25 Anastrozole EOD. Want to make sure that is working for me.

    This might be another thread, but for someone my age what should I look at doing if I am not happy with the results in the end and decide to do another cycle? My only goal is to increase muscle size/appearance.

    Thanks for the input. I was under the impression a typical 1st Test cyp cycle was 12 weeks, but if it doesn't "kick-in" till week 6ish, 14 weeks would make sense. Might see if I can squeeze another couple of weeks out of my script.

    Update: Now into week 6 and still don't seem to notice ANY difference.

    I have heard several comments about "kicking-in". What would be some of the things I would/should be noticing if it was kicking in?

    Is there any guide I should use if it hasn't kicked in by a certain week I should just stop?

    As a reminder this is a Test Cyp only 400mg a week cycle/blast.

    500 Calories over maintenance. I thought I would be seeing something By now, but as I have noted no change in weight, strength or libido. When I say no change i mean no change.

    My E2 is at 39 as of last week.

    The bloodwork and had said my testosterone was greater than 1500.

    Its definitely in your system, but not crazy high. What is your AI dose at and what are you using? Curious..

    By the week 6 you should feel some strength increase!

    I'm on my first blast and it took 10-11 weeks for me to tell it kicked in.

    Thanks for your input. Was it test only? How could you tell it kicked in? How long did you do that blast? Have you done other blast and was the "kick-in" point different?

    What are your macros?
    Protein, fat, carbs?
    What are your carb sources?

    You are welcome.

    Yes test only 450mg a week.

    I originally planned on doing 12 weeks but since it kicked in so late I decided to extend to to 15 weeks after speaking to a vet/mod on here about the late kick in.

    It's my first blast.

    I saw drastic strength Gaines when I felt it "kick in" followed by quick weight gain and filling out my jeans and t shirts more.
