Does taking B-12 really have any benefit at all in your supplements ? I take a B-complex 100. Do I need B-12 by itself while doing a cycle and why ? Will it really help my appetite ? ...crazy mike

Injectable B12 has an added benifit (for some) of energy and appetite. Others say that they do not feel one or the the other from B12 use. Personaly I noticed a small increase in energy but increasing my appetite is not a benefit I need.
So far, nothing noticeable for me. I'm using 500mcgs EOD and am not an more energized than before, nor has my appetite increased. My wife is taking 250mcgs M/F and says she has more energy. So I guess it can vary. Maybe I havent given it enough time. Ill continue for a few more weeks and report back.
I highly rec extra b12, specially if you eat little to no meat.
injectable is prob the best way to get it in you, but supps are good too.
added energy, health, mood, hunger with b12
I take extra on top of my multi.
also a good way to get used to pinning
Ok thanks for the input all of you. So many doctors and people say it helps in appetite but I was talking to a knowledgeable Pharmacist and he said no real data on it. I have a tab supplement as well as the B-100. So I'm doing both now. I find no data that says it is bad.
So thanks again. I don't like to ask stupid Q's but ?.... ....crazy mike
My appetite is uncontrollable when I take B12. I also notice increased energy levels.
Increasing my appetite is not something I need, though
Injectable b12 all the way, tablets don't do a dame thing.
I use to use 1000mcg daily and the benefits are increased appetite like nothing ive ever experienced and also a huge feeling of well being. Only took it on bulking cycles
I have blood work proving tabs (methylcobalamin) do work ;-)Originally Posted by marcus300

And for what it's worth, I felt no difference when taking B12, nor did I feel any difference between my levels being mid 500's vs the current 1169 which is 269 points above the top of the range.

I was taking a 1000mcg pill every morning and have since dropped down to 500mcg every morning.
I find it greatly increases my appetite. Didn't notice any effect on energy though.
For those who have responded, are you taking the methylcobalamin version of b12 or the more common version? Want to purchas, but not if thete's no noticeable difference. Thanks
