    the perfect meal

if you was to only eat one meal for all of your meals what would it be?

looking to simplify things and make things easier figuring out carbs protein and fats for every meal. looking for some ideas.

No matter what you picked, if you ate it for every meal you would be sick of it in a week.

Perfect as in what? Ideal for bodybuilding (which still would depend on goals, body composition, etc), or ideal as in what I'd LIKE to eat?

  4. #4
yeah i know i would be sick of it after awhile but if i had 5 or 6 good meals planned out i could rotate them.

yeah as in bodybuilding. with a goal of getting bigger and also cutting fat.

Well, seeing as those are 2 opposing goals, and as I said before, it would depend heavily on body composition, etc. - it's pretty much impossible to answer. BUT for shits and giggles...

I'd fast for 24 hours, then I'd get down with:

Steak (T-Bone, Porterhouse, or Prime Rib - maybe Ribeye)
Sweet potato w/ butter and cinnamon
Huge Salad w/ goat cheese, walnuts, apples, etc.
side of veggies - mixed grilled
    Coconut Shrimp

Hmmm... I should stop there... probably well over 5000 calories already but yea... something like that.

Considering the size of the steak I have in mind... plus all the other stuff and breaded/fried shrimp... yea, I think so. Gotta throw a few Sam Adams in there too.

Oh, and maybe a brownie pie sundae just because..

Man, where do you live? Do you have access to any places that have (authentic) Rodizio?

I've been going nuts with curry dishes lately, so this really speaks to me! Maybe I'll make it this weekend... can use a break from chicken.

I swap between a curry based and bolognese base depending on my Carb cycle point.

    If I had to choose.

Curry. Cystic brown rice is better than brown pasta

Although... the beef is better than the chicken.

Google it man... it's fcking awesome. Basically a Brazilian tradition where you're continuously brought skewered meat of all varieties... beef, chicken, pork, rabbit, duck, frog, lamb, etc. and everything in between! It's a TRUE caveman's feast.

Luckily, we have some areas with a rather large Portuguese population around here, so I get to enjoy the authentic, real deal.

Next time you go to one, see if they offer Rodizio on their menu. It's usually about $30 (at least around here) but well worth it IMO... especially the way guys like us (although I shouldn't be putting myself in the same class with you ya fcking beast) eat. If they're a Brazilian steakhouse worth their salt, you won't be disappointed!

Agreed. I have been many times and the wife usually has to drive home cause I leave nothing left in the tank. I push past failure and beyond with negatives )
