    Your own receipe

A lot of people go in the gym and try and do what the other person is doing.. They think it will work for them since it works for the other guy. What they don't realize is that everyone has certain numbers they should be doing. To make this message quick think of your program as a baking receipe. Each receipe is different depending on what your trying to make. So depending on what kind of results your trying get each workout will differ.. The key 6 ingredients that play out in your workout are reps,.sets, intensity, rest time, percentage of your max, and most important nutrition. So if your trying trying to get stronger don't be doing the same workout as someone trying to gain mass. Everyone has different numbers which will result in a different receipe. If you want more information on this thread let me know and I can go into more detail on different stages of working out.

    Welcome to the forum Matt.

Can you tell us about what you do? Are you a certified personal trainer, for instance?

On another note, NUTRITION RESOURCE FORUM is not the right one for discussing workout routines and etc.

Your thread is much more likely to get attention if you post it onLIFTING TECHNIQUE'S & WORKOUT QUESTIONS forum.
