Hi,
My pituitary gland is ****ed and doesn't produce any/enough growth hormone or testosterone, I have been having tri-monthly shots of "Testosterone undecanoate 1g/4ml solution for injection ampoules" for a few years now. I used to go to the doctors and have a nurse do it, but I started doing it myself in my thigh a couple of years ago.
Last week I realized I had lost so much weight that I didn't really know where to stick it in my thigh anymore, so I found a video on youtube showing where to stick it in your ass-cheek, and I did that.
The following 3 days I had only 2-3 hours per sleep each night, waking up in a cold sweat, absolutely drenched in sweat. And then during the day my armpits were leaking sweat non-stop. There was no smell at all (I had someone check, I also have anosmia).
I also became quite irritable and had a few bouts of uncontrollable rage a few times.
This has not happened to me before in the years I have been having HRT. My question is, is injecting it into the ass somehow 'better' in that it allows it to be absorbed better or something, increasing my levels more than normal? Or did I inject it incorrectly and somehow miss the fat in my ass-cheek and then the testosterone was more rapidly absorbed somehow, thus increasing the levels way more than they should be, causing the bouts of rage etc?
Can anyone shed any light on this? I only see my Endocrinologist specialist 1-2 times per year, and this seems like the best place online to ask something like this.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any insight.
