Question Androgel 5mg. 8 weeks in. No positive benefits noticed yet. Grumpy as hell.

I've read all the faqs and have not seen anything about grumpy as a side effect of TRT, but man-oh-MAN, am I a grumpy bitch for the last few weeks. I'm not scheduled for more blood work for 4 more weeks, so I don't know if my levels have changed. I am feeling no benefits yet - no change in libido, energy, fatigue, etc... but the grumpy thing is on my last nerve.

Is it possible that the grump is a side effect of the Androgel? Or is it just coincidence and I need to look elsewhere for the cause? Thanks for reading.

You need bloodwork done, here's what happens with the gels, it's enough to shut your natural production down, so you probably are still low on t, betting 5mgs of androgel won't get you much over 400 as a high for the day, you probably fall around 200 sometime during the day so you feel like sh1t, grumpy like a hormonal bitch. Everyone is different but, bottom line is you need bloodwork and probably an increased dose.

Thanks for the input. I would reply further, but the spam filter won't let me type anything other than "hi", "yes", "no", and "hi" again.
