I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on taking a week off from the gym. I have been lifting hard, nonstop for almost two years now! Should I take a week off? If so why, what are the pros and cons of it?

Really just missing a week in the gym won't do much to you physically... Mentally it might drive you crazy. I know it does me even on just rest days.
I believe it is good to do this once or twice a year. For one it gives your body, joints, ligaments, etc a break. Two we are human and need breaks from our everyday routines from time to time. I go on vacation once or twice a year, so it is like a built in break.
Just listen to your body. Even if you take a week off from the gym try some active recovery that's low impact and not taxing the nervous system too much.
Sure, not a bad idea.
