45 y/o Looking to lean out

Let me start off by saying this. I am 5'10" use to weight 236lbs (fat) and lost 36 pounds and have been stuck at 200 for sometime now. I have been lifting some, but mostly I lost doing aerobic stuff and eating right. I would like to lose another 20lbs. Would it be wise, tell me if I am wrong, to cycle some HHG so I can pack on more muscle to loose the rest of what I deem to be fat? Or am I just dreaming to think this would work.

No matter what chemical you will use DIET determines your goals.

Totally agree with you. Just I am down to 1800 calories a day and holding steady on the weight. Cannot go much less without feeling weak and tired. I already have a rock solid diet, just hit what seems to be the proverbial wall and cannot get over it.

    Welcome Amp,

If your body fat is high, steroids will do a whole lot more negative results than positive. You'll have high blood pressure, retain a ton of water, convert testosterone to estrogen at an alarming rate, risk gynecomastia, etc.. and honestly, you won't have any visible results.

I suggest you visit the nutrition forum and allow the pro's there to critique your diet. If you're really and truly eating 1800 calories per day, then you might want to have a doctor order a thyroid panel to see if you have any underlying medical conditions. Otherwise your daily expenditure would have to be super low. It's not complicated and the science is super simple: Burn more calories than you eat, and you will lose fat. There are no objections, alternatives, or anything else that we could possibly think of.

    Good luck.

Start lifting and put on Len mass. Muscle burns calories.
