To HCG or not to HCG, that is the question

Quick question. I am about to start my first cycle of test enanthate. 500mg (250mg 2x per week). Also running Aromasin along with it. 12 week cycle. PCT will consist of Clomid & Nolva.

Earlier this year I tried TRT through Low T Center. Long story short I only did 3 weeks of treatment with them at 150mg 1x per week of test cypionate. Only side effect I had was testicular discomfort and skrinkage (felt like left testi was being drawn upwards).

Here's my question. Most of the information I have read from the pro says not to use HCG during a first cycle especially unnecessary if only cycling testosterone. In light of the previously mentioned side effect when i was on test through the Low T Center wouldn't it make sense for me to pin HCG during my cycle? To prevent the atrophy/shrinkage?

Please advise!!!!!

Yes you should run 200-250 iu 2 x EW to maintain testicular function on cycle

For 12 week cycle use HCG week 1-12. Test only will shut you down like multiple other compounds.

Any particular labs you guys like who manufacture HCG? I also heard you can squirt a little bit on a pregnancy test strip to check its efficacy!

Amateur question here. I've read the advice to take hcg during a test cycle but I've also heard to just run it after cycle befor pct there seemed to be a lot of different answers.

Well if you can maintain some testicular function while on cycle, why wouldn't you. Better than trying to restart something that hasn't worked at all in months, right?

hCG will help you recover faster. Suppression happens on cycle, it doesn't magically appear post cycle. Otherwise it would be like putting a seatbelt on after you get in a wreck. So put your seatbelt on for the ride and don't take it off till you're done.

Testicular function and size. Precursor for pregnenolone, dhea and cortisol. brain function.............

So by taking hcg and maintain the function of the testicles while on cycle I would benefit from the functions mentioned as opposed to just letting them shut down. This is all new to me. When I did Phs I know dumb it just seemed like part of the deal to let you balls shut down and then just try to restart them.

No. You're shut down no matter what. luteinizing hormone is no longer in production so HCG mimics the luteinizing hormone so that your leydig cells are stimulated and produce testosterone endogenously.
