What are the symptoms of high Hemocrit levels?

I'm just curious if there are any symptoms of high Hemocrit levels or is the only way to know by having it tested?

    . High Blood Pressure
. Excessive bleeding or easily bleed
    . Fainting or light-headed
    . Fatigue and Achiness
    . Blood accumulating under skin
    . Blood in stool
    . Headaches
    . Pressure behind eyes

Always get a CBC panel. It's the responsible thing to do.

I get one once a quarter. If I cycle, I do it pre, mid and post cycle. You can wait till you donate and they will check it for you, free.

Hydration is very important, but it will not resolve dangerously high HCT and aspirin will do nothing.

Hydration as Austinite says. Many Trt patients donate blood on a regular schedule to control as well

. Fainting or light-headed <--- don't forget shortness of breath
    . Fatigue and Achiness
. Blood accumulating under skin <-- Huh? I've only seen this with the elderly on blood thinners.
. Blood in stool <--- this is also usually from too many blood thinners
    . Headaches
    . Pressure behind eyes

    See bold.

I donate every 60 days. When my level goes up I can tell right away bad headaches.

Will the shortness of breath be during regular activity or restricted to working out?

All the time. It is generally described as "an inability to take a full breath".

I like to say the same thing on all the rbc threads: get your blood count done. Don't rely on guesswork when your health is on the line.
