Hopefully one day Texas will pass an open carry law. I prefer to carry concealed, there's no need for anyone else while out in public to know if I have my Glock 27 on me or not. But, on occasion it would be nice to have the legal option.

I'm SORRY!! I have to disagree.
I study Psychology, as well as any other behavior which may/may not contribute to the I've done much research (in college, personal, professional, ((substance abuse) which I have 20 years of experience)) controlled substances within US as well as other nations. The outcome is always the same - guns don't kill people - people kill people. Drugs don't kill people - people CHOOSE to kill themselves. As long as you don't harm others - go for it. WHEN YOU DO harm others = severe penalty = execution in some cases.
