Pure awesomeness. In NJ, I can't even shoot an intruder in my home (despite having a licensed firearm) without repercussion.

Rape is considered a forcible felony in most states and most states authorize the use of deadly force to stop a forcible felony. The REAL nice thing about Texas, they support their deadly force laws and the citizens who use them

Come on over Bass. Texas can never have enough gun carrying law abiding citizens.

Very true. As long as drug trafficking across our southern border is a national past time I'm sure we will have very strict drug laws.

I'm SORRY!! I have to disagree.
I study Psychology, as well as any other behavior which may/may not contribute to the I've done much research (in college, personal, professional, ((substance abuse) which I have 20 years of experience)) controlled substances within US as well as other nations. The outcome is always the same - guns don't kill people - people kill people. Drugs don't kill people - people CHOOSE to kill themselves. As long as you don't harm others - go for it. WHEN YOU DO harm others = severe penalty = execution in some cases.
Take a look at gun and drug laws for countries such as.
    – guns and peace

Gun-rights advocates in the United States often cite Switzerland as an example of relatively liberal regulation going hand-in-hand with low gun crime.

The country's 8 million people own about 2.3 million firearms. But firearms were used in just 24 Swiss homicides in 2009, a rate of about 0.3 per 100,000 inhabitants. The US rate that year was about 11 times higher.Sc

    Screw THAT"
Every nation that has legalized drugs has had lowest drug, gang, retaliation, murder, drug-lord ----bla-bla-blah-- in the world aside from billions of $$$ siphoned in from sales.
My point is IF YOU HAVE AN OPINION ((BACKITUP))
So Far the only back-up that's been shown in any psych/eco/socio/gov.def/pros or any other field I've seen supports the fact that they should be legal.
It is the same with the 1937 Act which made TCH a COntrolled Dangerous Substance
    Same with AAS
In 1937, the Marijuana Tax Stamp Act prohibited the use, sale and cultivation of hemp/marijuana in the United States.

Five years later, during World War II, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released the film, "Hemp for Victory", which encouraged American Farmers to grow hemp for the war effort.

Hemp is cultivated all over the world. Today China, Korea, Italy, Hungary, Russia and France are among the countries that grow hemp for fiber, paper and other products.

Cannabis is classified as a schedule 1 drug by the Food and Drug Administration. Designated as a narcotic, it cannot be prescribed by physicians to patients on a federal level.

In 1988, the DEA's own administrative law judge concluded that "marijuana is one of the safest, therapeutically active substances known to man."

Cannabis can be used as a medicine to treat nausea, pain and muscle spasms. It alleviates symptoms of glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, migraines an other debilitating ailments.

Thirty-five states have passed legislation permitting medical use of marijuana.

More than 400,000 Americans are arrested each year on marijuana charges.

More than 400,000 Americans die from diseases related to cigarette smoking each year. More than 150,000 Americans die of Alcohol abuse each year. BUT IN 10,000 YEARS OF USAGE, NO ON HAS EVER DIED FROM MARIJUANA.
Same with steroids, there are no confirmed cases of death from direct steroid use, it's all a twisted GOV't game.

My point is --- I study facts - facts which are related to "us" as human beings. If(+.=) =good. Not =/ Bad.
Anything I attest to as ='ing good is tested(numerous times and scientifically proven to be TRUE.)anything tested as +/-=(+/-)/'ing ='ing less than is questionable and lacks scientific studies to provide adequate support for the claim.
I Think I just went on a tangent- if you want it moved to another thread let me know
