Was gonna begin this Monday, but now I'm thinking of delaying....

I was doing a chest workout today and my right shoulder started to agitate me. I reduced weight significantly and added a few more sets of light weight to complete my workout. After I was done, there was a mild but kind of a sharp pain in my right shoulder when I would lift my arm in a lateral raise motion. It's better now....but I'm thinking of delaying starting by a week or 2. Thoughts? It was gonna be 10 weeks of T E.

Wait. No need to do any significant damage and have to stop the cycle. Sharp pain in my shoulder was rotator cuff. Butter safe than sorry.

My advice here since I know about subtle injuries and aches. You cannot tell much right off what's going on but if you had sharp pain you need to listen to that even if you think it to be minor. It would be wiser to back off and work out a few more times with the same body part until you know.
Believe me when you start the normal person take off like a beast due to excitement, even before the body gets going and putting the compound to use. Take care of this first. ...crazy mike

I always start chest/shoulder work outs with RC warmups.....what did you do to rehab? Rehab time frame?

Doctors don't want you lifting sh!t for a long time. Cortisone shots blah blah. I found a great Chiro. 2 months had full range of motion. Can't do flat bench anymore.

Damn, this is so frustrating. I had timed this out so that by the time I get off, I could go to Italy for new years. Cousin is stationed over there and haven't seen him in a long time. Now delaying this would mean I wont be able to go.....no way I'm taking a vial and Dex with me on a plane. Yes, I've read that if I check it, I'm safe, but I rather not take that chance. Stupid shoulder.

Easy big fella you don't even know what it is or how bad. Maybe jus a pinch. Wait a few days. See what's what. But if its not better. Don't start.

^^^ Listen some time you have to listen to your body and be just a little patient and that means you can't at this day and make long term plans. AS Cape said it might be nothing.

However I CAN tell you if you move before you know it can Fk u up forever. Now Flat bench is known for shoulder injuries. I know so many that can incline and not flat. IMOP incline is more important, BUT be careful and lay off a few 1st. ...crazy mike

Definitely going to take a few days off, then do a light back work out. See how it feels. But yeah, I'm putting the cycle off for now for sure. Thanks for the input, you guys are great.
