    Shredding belly fat

Hi, I was curious to know what supplement would be best to shred belly fat. I'm 17% belly fat and 6'0. Thanks

I bought some 'fasted cardio' and it seems to be working.

^ fasted cardio has absolutely no advantage over non-fasted cardio.

I thinks it's more about calories in versus calories out that matters, not fasted cardio.

you can't spot reduce body fat. Fat comes off your frame as it sees fit, everyone is unique. Put yourself in a caloric deficit of 3 to 500 cals per day, hit the gym hard, train hard and be determined. Stick with it, set short term and long term goals, visualize your wonderful lean ripped body and your girls washing their panties on your stomach...yeah, thats it

Look into carb cycling as well to add to your diet plan.

Link to what? I don't have links, I just understand how our bodies work. The amount of food in your stomach does not determine how many calories are burned. There's no relationship there.

My understanding is that if we have fasted for hours before cardio, our bodies have no choice but to burn fat for fuel.

Ok, so let's have a look....

If I run on an empty stomach and burn 700 calories, and I run the next day on a full stomach and burn 700 calories, you're saying that the first 700 calories burned more?

My limited understanding(and probably incorrect) is that we use whats in our blood as energy, probably sugar, etc. Fluck, I don't know. But if we have not eaten, our blood nutrients are low and the body has to go to reserves, fat, to fuel our cardio.

    ^ Hows that? lol

As much as I love to read, I can't bother. If you guys want to specify reasons, I'll be happy to debunk the heck out of them

Disrespect! LoL just kidding. Basically, if I workout or do cardio hungry, I have less energy to fuel intensity... I'd be lame at best

    Good read, for sure.

I've lost weight using fasted cardio and without fasted cardio. The post below the article was a good one pointing to the last paragraph.

Always choose energy and sustainability over anything else.
I have to admit that my workouts are generally better when I've goofed(or thought I did) and ate breakfast.

Thanks fellas. I will be reading up more on this. This means I might be able to go back to my rice cakes with peanut butter for breakfast.

The body burns ATP for fuel when it can Right and when that is low or gone it burns fat... correct . If your super lean I don't think it matters much but if your heavy fasting cardio probably has its place in the morning..

  31. #31
fat being explained as calories out of a fat cell. as opposed to stored ATP

Also given factors such as body TYPE ..Endomorpe ,ectomorpe and mesmomorpe , im sure my spelling is way off , so your body type also has something to do with it . You austinite are very shredded which is probably partly due to genetics and your vast understanding of how the body works alone with diet and gear and exercise.

For every "theory" there will be an opposite theory.

As for opposing view and science on fasted cardio google Dr Layne Norton. He has gone over it a lot.

I'm a firm believer is IIWFYTKDI

If It Works For You Then Keep Doing It

I for one can't doing shit fasted. I need energy to do cardio.
