Hello, I was just curious if the NYPD test for AAS?
I heard yes, then I heard no.

Will clenbuterol show up?
I know they take hair, and it test back for 3 months, I just find it hard to believe how AAS will show up.
Way too expensive etc.

I wanted to start some Clen, but not sure if it will show.
If it does, can I just say its from my Albuterol pump, Asthma pump?

Any help would be appreciated.

I find it hard to believe any place would test for it other than pro athletes who are being accused. The test are expensive. But idk. maybe some one else will know for sure

There has been a trend over the last several years for some larger metro departments to test for AAS. Some are doing it as pre-employment and some as spot tests. Your best bet is simply an anonymous phone call to ask what they test for during pre-employment. As far as Clen showing...I can't honestly answer that but I doubt it. Most drug screens are done for specific metabolites.

Yes they do. I personally know several established officers who have been suspended over AAS use. If they test existing officers you can be damn sure they are going to test noobies.

It was to my understanding that the nypd was under scrutiny because a large amount of officers were using aas. There was a scandal not that long ago that I read about in the paper. Anyways..... I heard they were testing existing officers. Idunno how regular.....

Most public servant applicant drug tests include AAS these days. I'm willing to bet that a large dept such as NYPD will test for AAS & a laundry list of other controlled substances.

When I was in the hiring process (fireman but the preemployment process is similar) the Dept disclosed what they were testing for prior to going for BW & to pee in a cup. AAS was on the list.

Not to burst your bubble, but the statement above in bold is completely false. Statistically very few public service jobs test for AAS. It's simply to expensive. Larger metro areas are starting to more frequently especially those with a history of AAS use, like NY, NJ etc.
