    Dirty bulking

Hey guys, just wanted to ask your opinion about dirty bulking.. I'm not saying to go + 100000 calories above tdee, may be just adding 500-700 from clean sources and more frequent cheating meals.... May be stop weighing the food in every meal..
My idea is you'll gain more muscle, and this will lead to a faster metabolism when cutting later on.
Of course u ll gain fat, but later on u might loose it more easy..
Ur ideas gents are mostly welcomed.

depends on your goals. The most common sense approach I have seen is set your goal and slowly work to it. I did a dirty bulk and it was the worst thing ever. Went from 185-213. Put on muscle and a lot of fat. Felt like sh1t looked like sh1t. Never again. You don't need to eat crap to put on muscle. Eat a little above your tdee. Plus trying to stop eating like crap after a dirty bulk is a pain in the a$$.

I've been up to 263lbs with about 16-17% bf I was strong but nothing else was very appealing about it. I am slowly making my way up currently just shy of 240lbs but at a lower bf% around 12%.

    Good post.

I would never dirty bulk just for the fck of it. Dirty bulking will have no greater impact on your metabolism than anything else.

Bottom line is AAS aside, there is no shortcut to adding muscle. In my experience, slow steady gains while keeping an eye on bodyfat is the way to go.

Dirty Bulking, happy to hear there is a phrase for the way I used to eat before joining this site.

    Thanks

Yes sir, u have a point here. .. But after 2 years of restricted dieting, having very limited cheat days in those 2 years, sometimes I get little bit bored or tired..
I'm not bitching about it , that was my choice and I'm glad I went from 265 to 180 lbs , but now it's harder to push food into my mouth ..
My question was will taking it easy for a bit , would be harmful?
And I m thankful for you guys for the answer.. Yes it is bad.
    Now I know.
