    Pinning my thigh

Is there any difference between pinning my thigh or butt? Any suggestions and is there any more or less pain?

I like the leg, it's just easier. I rotate legs and delts, don't bother with rear anymore. Pain can be based on injection technique or product. I never really get any (PIP).

They are both pretty easy. I had some issues when first starting with the quads but not any more. I just do it sitting down after a hot shower. I sit down to make sure the muscle is relaxed as much as possible. Obviously I stand when doing the glutes.

Sit down and put an ice pack on your quad. After about a minute or so remove the pack then pinch and pin. I have been doing this for over a year and have had zero issues. Just make sure you pin on the outer edge of your quad not inner.

Thigh is easier, you can see what your doing. Pain after first injection in each thigh then no pain for the last 2 years. Also make sure the test is at room temp, you don't need to store it in a fridge

I've come to realize the quads are the best site for me as well! I had big issues in the abdominal area with welting and redness as well as itching and lumps.

Once I started pinning the quads a few weeks ago, problem solved! No issues. No marks. Good luck! Give it a try!

I personally favor the shoulder, less pain and not once have I hit a nerve and got the "twitches"

Quads contain a lot more nerves than your glutes or even delts.
I rarely pin quads anymore, as I always seem to hit something that makes me flinch.

When i first started pinning quads i went to low and hit a nerve. The method i go by is taking heel of my hand by my hip bone and run down to my baby finger. At end of baby finger anywhere within a half inch or so is safe. Never feel a thing there. I do sit down and relax the leg as that muscle is dense. The vastes lateralis up high. When i hit the nerve from going to low it heated up and got red, but went away. So i stayed away from quad area for a long time until someone showed me this technique.
