    Best Foam Roller?

I was wondering if anybody had a favorite foam roller. I woud like to get one for my stretching, flexabiliry, deep tissue massage, etc etc. I was just wondering if there is a difference between the solid foam, foam outer with a core, or are they all the same?

They are all basically the same and will work the same. The only major difference I have seen is some have smooth surface and others have ridges. Just buy the one that best fits your budget. I have a smooth surface one 6in diameter but I rarely use it.

I asked a yoga addict I know and was told they are pretty much the same. So find the cheaper options out there.

I use a hard tennis ball or a baseball in a sock. Also just a plain piece of PCV pipe works great. Pick dif diameters for dif spots. Cheap and effective. Just my.02.

I had some pirformis pain on my buttocks used a tennis ball to grind it out, it hurt and felt so good at the same time. haha. Baseball bat might also work as roller substitute.

Good idea with the bat. It does hurt like a bitch but when you stop it feels sooo good.
