    Good substitute for fruit juice?

One of my biggest weaknesses is fruit juice and peach ice tea lol. Im not trying to get my body fat in the single digits but I cant imagine this is helping my physique. I drink this stuff because I like the taste and it helps me choke down food I dont really want to eat (chicken, cottage cheese, etc.) I use it as a "chaser". But the problem is I probably drink about a gallon of this stuff in a day. Is there anything you guys can recommend as an alternative?

I was thinking about cutting it out completely. I was thinking of using something along the lines of crystal light as a substitute.

Crystal light and mio are both pretty good to curb the sweet tooth but also keep in mind fruits are not bad as long as you work them in to your nutrition plan. I like to have a glass of oj with my breakfast every morning.

Yeah I have a couple glasses of OJ every morning but I end up drinking probably a gallon of fruit juice/ ice tea throughout the day. Im trying to recomp. my body so I think cutting out most of the sugar I intake will help with that.

Is something like crystal light safe? I hear a lot of bad things about artificial sweeteners.

I am sure but its better than drinking extra calories all day. You just have to keep things in moderation to curb the cravings. I was never suggesting replacing your water intake with it.

What sort of "fruit juice" is this? I suspect this is some sort of cheap cocktail rather than pure juice...

As embarrassing as it is a drink a lot of juicy juice lol which is suppose to be 100% real fruit juice... and then sometimes I will drink those "fruit punches" which end up only being like 5% juice. I do drink a lot of ice tea as well. But I only drink these with meals to help get them down as chicken and fish get old after a while lol. But on a side note I do drink about a gallon of water throughout the day.

You must be in the bathroom constantly if you are drinking that much juice and tea with a gallon of water on top of that!

Austinite is right. Get a masticating juicer, buy some fruit and make your own. The stuff you get in the store has a lot of its vitamins/etc cooked away during the pasteurization process anyway.
