Ok so I'm just coming off my blast, 600 mg for the majority of it, couple weeks of 800 mg. TRT dose is 200 mg a week.
Now I have no clue what my test levels were like during this. But I'm comparing my libido from 6 or 7 years ago and 12 years ago to prior to trt to on trt to 600 mg to 800 mg.
On 200 mg my test levels are just over 800, two days after the twice weekly injection. Libido was decent, slight improvement over no trt, but not what I wanted.
12 years ago, my libido was raging, it was unreal, at one point it really felt like I was at some kind of testosterone peak because it diminished a while later but still was really strong for many more years.
So everyone talks about how crazy their libido is while on cycle. I never felt that. At 600 mg I felt like my libido was decent, but not much above my trt dose and not that strong overall, erection quality was better and lasted longer, something I expected from trt dose but did not fully get.
but it wasn't till after i bumped my test up to 800 mg that I felt like my test levels were even close to feeling like my early 20's, and even then it was a fraction of the libido I had back then. There's got to be a lot more going on when it comes to libido and testosterone. I mean seriously have to pin 2000 mg to feel like I'm 20 again? I can live with how I feel on 200 mg, I'm happy, and life goes well. I would prefer to feel like I did on 800 mg for libido and sex, but overall I felt a little bit worse. It's hard to judge since from when I started 600 mg I got a bad sinus infection and felt horrible, which lasted a good 8 weeks before it got so bad I couldn't breathe and took antibiotics, so a lot of how I was feeling during the high test time was from that problem.
Anyways, the temptation to blast and cruise non stop is really high for me.
I'd like to know further what is going on, but I don't think there are any doctors that can just get to the bottom of this.
One thing I would like more info on is Renal artery function, and it's impact on the body, since it's possible I could carry a gene that causes fibromuscular dysplasia and that could effect renal and carotid arteries. If renal arteries are damaged in a person I would like to know the effect on the body. For me that feels like that could be something to look into, although I don't want to just go out and have an angiogram if not having more serious issues.
