    Question Regarding SubQ Injections

I recently started a TRT program.
I've done my first two injections of .5ml of Test C weekly.
I'm injecting SubQ into the stomach - Third injection is today.
When doing my 2nd injection, I noticed - and was surprised at how much T was left in the needle / hub.

I had read in another thread where someone suggested placing a small bubble BEHIND the oil to push it all out when injecting.

Just wanted to check to see if this was something others were doing, or if it is even a safe practice.

    BTW, I DO aspirate.

    Thanks in advance for your guidance . . . . . . .

I do mine IM, but noticed there was a lot of waste like you did. Also, my script vials of Cyp always seem on the lighter side so I was concerned about running out early.

Using the bubble seems to have mitigated this issue slightly.

When I use the bubble there is a little hiss sound at the end of the injection. Nothing to worry about, just tells me I got all of the cyp out of the barrel.

I pull back slightly on the plunger as I pull the needle out of the vial so the oil doesn't drip out of the needle. That leaves a small bubble. It's not been a problem for IM. With insulin needles there's not much waste.

I do subQ and also do the "bubble method" you describe above. No problems at all. I also understand that if you do SQ, it's not necessary to aspirate.

I have done both types of injections for my TRT. I prefer sub q. With that said, no need to aspirate. Secondly, I always draw just a bit of air so when I inject, I inject all the testosterone.

    Thanks for the responses -
I'll continue with the bubble method!
