    Watson Test Cyp prices skyrocket?!

    Hey guys,

I just went to costco to pick up my script which isn't covered by insurance (they dont cover any injectables), normally I pay $60 for a 200mg/ml 10ml vial. Its now $140 bucks for the same vial 2 months later. Waston test cyp is now over 2x more expensive.

    Anyone else having similar issues?

Mods: if listing prescript pricing against rules, feel free to edit.

You can get 10mL vial at CVS or Walgreens for about $42 with a coupon from GoodRx. Go to their website and print it out. That's all I use. DON'T go through your insurance. Pay cash (or CC) and it's a done deal.

Huge thanks man! Gonna try tomorrow. Never even heard of that site before. Do you just present the coupon when you pick up your test or do you have to give it to them when you drop off the script?

That must have just happened. I buy mine at Costco too. I just bought it about 2 weeks ago and it was still $60. I'll make sure I call next time.

This has been in effect for at least 3-4 months. You can print out as many coupons as you have paper in your printer. The coupon and a script and you're home. Sometimes the pharmacy will have some difficulty processing it but just be courteous and tell them to call the support number right on the coupon. My local Walgreens pharmacy had a glitch and I just couldn't wait so I went down the street to CVS which put it right through. Whatever happens, they are legally bound to honor it. I've used the coupons four times already.

Ill find out tomorrow. I just transferred my script to CVS and asked if they accept goodrx, they said yes.

@beethoven, I purchased my last vial of Test cyp back in december of 2013. I even called the costco pharmacy 800 number today, sure enough it was increased to $140 a vial.

Ill report back if it works when I pick up my test @cvs. If so, it worked out that costco jacked up their prices Now I can buy it even cheaper!

I picked up my script from CVS about two weeks ago. Watson 10mL vial for $41 as well with the GoodRX coupon. I have the app on my iPhone so I just showed it to them -- and they typed in the codes. Don't even need to print it out. Works on scripts from Walmart, CVS, and most of the other large brands. The app will show you the best price near your location considering all of the big chains.

I posted about this months ago and ended up switching to Walgreens using the RX coupon. I don't even have to print out as they kept the coupon on file.

Yes. CVS just looks my original coupon up also and I don't even need a new one. For some reason my local Walgreens had difficulty submitting mine. They said they'd get it for me by the end of the day when they worked it out but I didn't want to wait.

Got my test cyp at cvs for 10 bucks co pay. Would the coupon still work for that? Free test cyp would be amazing. By the way it wasn't watson. Forget which brand it was.

No the coupon will not work since you used your insurance and it was lower.

It's on the GoodRx website that the coupons for the indicated pharmacies can be found.
