heading to Pattaya in March on a cycle?

    Hi,

I am a writer for Sydney puiblication who has been assigned a job in Thailand (March 7 onwards), to write an extensive feature about Aussies/people in general who head there on steroid vacations.

The aim is to compile a feature about someone's experiences during a typical cycle in Pattaya and I am hoping someone on the ground there might want to assist with a well researched and (most importantly) BALANCED feature on the subject.

Participants can remain totally anonymous. Anyone wanna help and break down some common myths/misconceptions?

What do you mean by "head there on steroid vacations"?

  4. #4
There are lots of guys (and some girls ) who head over to Thailand to do cycles because it's illegal to do it in Oz - and increasingly risky to bring the steroids back (because of customs etc). So I'm really keen to speak to people who head over on these trips.
I've read and heard anecdotally about people who push themselves too hard on these excursions. And then there are others who clearly maintain that in moderation, all's cool.
Would love to have a beer and chat with someone on a cycle whilst there. Would like to speak to anyone who knows what they're talking about basically. Gym owners? People who've been, there done it etc. Again, happy not to know anyone's name.

    G'day mate,

As you may guess I am an Aussie who has lived and worked in Thailand for the past 5 years. I am a power lifter and use steroids. Yes, many Aussies come here as you can buy gear over the counter in Pattaya, Patpong, sukhumvit road, etc. All tourist areas. The choicvves open to you are vast with goods from Europe and major companies and a number of Thai approved Hong Kong based companies.

I left Australia as I am sick of bullshit politicians who state the harmful effects of steroids then fill themselves with alcohol.
Laws that are total bullshit, AUstralia is as corrupt as any Asian nation. Here at least everything is open. Cheap, and no penalties. Just beware, there are shops and shops! prices and then prices! I pay far less than tourists. then again they all know me. I tend to use the one supplier.

If you wish, I am on holidays march, contact me and we can talk.

I want to know how in the hell you guys actually get training in while in Pattaya?

I can achieve this in BKK, but no way in hell in Pattaya.

Agree 100% Pattaya is most comparable to Mardi Gras 7 days a week, 265 days a year. I know working out was the last thing on my mind while I was there but I did get in plenty of cardio.

In all honesty my first trip of only 2 weeks I came home with a herniated disc (L5 S1) and it ruptured 3 days later. It didnt stop my from booking my next trip and being back 2 weeks after surgery. LOL

There are some BIG boys in Pattaya for sure and as said most gear is easily accessible although I have heard the last year things have gotten a little tighter than they were but if you are an ex pat or know the right people it's as easy as before.

One of the few places you can go in Pattaya IMO and have a good meal, breakfast lunch or dinner and good people and not be pressured by girls unless you want to be is Secrets on Soi 14 just off walking street. They also have free WiFi.

LOL, fat finger, yes I meant 365 but actually they have several days a year where there is no drinking and limited partying but it's still better than most any other place on earth even on the off days. I want to go there for Songkran. I keep missing it by a few weeks, poor planning.

Between this thread and me booking my next trip in may to bkk, I am about to pop my top in anticipation. Thailand is the only country that excites me like a giddy little kid before I go.mall others bore me.

Most people can not relate unless they have been there.
There is no other place I have been that when I left I was feeling homesick, like I was a kid leaving home and all I could think about was getting back. The feeling is close to a chemical addiction without the negative side effect.

I get a bit depressed as I sit on the Tarmac awaiting takeoff. I associate this to withdrawals from BKK life, and the strange thing is I go with my wife and she also feels this way when leaving.

I can relate, even if I was with someone I would feel the same I'm sure. I get it also but for some reason not as much in PI. Maybe because I broke my cherry so to speak in Thailand, my first love?

Sorry not trying to hijack, but since its kind of on the topic. Would the gear sold in pharmacies in pattaya or thailand in general be legit and good stuff? is it really only the price that differs from pharmacy to pharmacy? I dont know much about thailand but I have a close mate thats been there twice and he has brought over gear to australia both times (brings them back in sterile coconut oil bottles), most recently he brought back some sust 250 and I might be buying some off him. He cant remember the brand of it though so dont really know if its legit good quality.

It all depends on the gear. You have to know what you are looking for. There is plenty of fake gear and they charge you whatever they think they can get away with. Its best to already know someone who is a regular. I would not buy any HGH there anymore. It was ??? 4 or 5 years ago and now I wouldn't touch it.

PM on facebook Tim Sharky, he was zyzz's mate who helped him with gear over there, and is one of the most well known aussie guys over there in the country and hes in pattaya too. He's your best bet to know all about guys and gear over there.

I've lived in Koh Tao Thailand for 12 years. I import everything from a good UGL outside the country since the quality, underdosing and all the other bulls**t was getting on my nerves. There are some things that are almost always good like test, deca, winny, Proviron. There are other things like dbol, var, tren that are almost always fake. For me ALL my stuff is good, it makes it to me 100% of the time and the bottles are almost always overfilled, PLUS...it's about 20-30% of the best prices here. If you make it to Koh Tao just ask/look around and you can interview me. THIS IS IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM AN OFFER FOR ANYTHING EVER!!! I DO NOT SELL STEROIDS NOR CONDONE THE USE!!!!!!!

Thanks for your advice one and all.

Why write the article? It's clear that with the present strict laws in Oz governing these types of products - and customs getting ever more tighter - more people are choosing to head to places like Bangkok and Pattaya to do their cycles there.

I’d like to present all sides. In doing so, I’d like to chat to as many people as I can. The youngsters who head there, the older heads based there, etc. I should add, again, that anyone who wants to help me can remain totally anonymous, if they so wish. Now looking to head to Bangkok and Pattaya late March. Anyone from Oz looking at travelling around then? Cheers...

Well I can tell you, anyone who flys over there just to cycle legally is a complete jackass....There might be some idiot that does that...

I think your real topic should the starting of underground labs or perhaps some sort of large distribution from Thailand to other countries. There is much corruption that goes on like this in these types of countries and I believe this is the MAIN reason people head over there...Looking for a profit in the large underground steroid market which can be quite profound...

And again, for the jackasses that really go over there just for a simple cycle, may god have mercy on your souls

I'm in Thailand here. I've shopped for gear in practically every different city across the entire country. Perhaps find out if other people are having the same issue i have had. High availability of AAS and Sparse availability of proper Post Cycle Theropy Medications. If other users across the country are having the same issue as me then perhaps users in Thailand would be more vunurable to side effects then those back in the USA or otherwise.

There is Clomid and Tamox everywhere. I even got some torem!! Also available is fake stuff everywhere. What's tough is the AI's, but you can just order them from AR-R at the top of the screen. AAS use 101, first class...DON"T START YOUR CYCLE TILL YOU HAVE YOUR PCT IN HAND AND AN AI OR YOU ARE A FOOL!!! Keep this rule in mind and you won't be "vulnerable" to sides where ever you are...

Probably a good idea. Saves some running around and not illegal to transport so why not?

I use the one pharmacy in Thailand and have done so for years. If I have a problem they will replace the goods. I prefer to buy in Bangkok, where I live. Pattaya is filled with scams. If you do not live here you do not know the prices, Thais love Falangs and even love them more when whey first arrive! Easy money. No, I would not buy from somebody who shipped to Australia in coconut oils, or anything else. Pattaya has the better gyms and its impossible to be here without a Thai woman finding you if you are a reasonable guy. If you are on a drunken orgy, stay in Pattaya, use condoms, do not think you are safe, STD's are very common. Most people come here for all the wrong reasons. Thailand is the safest and friendliest country I know, and the Thai people are beautiful. They are gracious and charming, the food is fantastic, if you want to enjoy Thailand just smile, stay sober and be patient. Good luck
