    Advice on Anavar?

Guys I know I'm only 18 years old but I already made up my mind, I will be using steriods at the end of the year. I'm planning on using Anavar because its quiet safe. Is it safe to run Anavar alone or should test be included? Also should I get pct for Anavar? I would really appreciate advice.

My advice is to do some research first.
List me all side effects of cycling at your age so I know you did your homework and you know what you are getting into and then I will custom build you a cycle.
Nobody here going to advise you at your age what to take because your age and your lack of knowledge.
Spend next few years eating., researching and training it will be more beneficial in the future.

You don't need steroids at your age they will be of zero benefit only cause you problems, what you need is to learn how to eat and train correctly and that will be far more beneficial to you

There isn't an exact age were we all stop developing and growing because this is determined by our genes and DNA, we are all genetically programmed individually and we inherit our genes from our parents. To give an exact age we stop growing would be incorrect because everyone's genetic blueprint is different. The main development of our bodies is up to the age of 21yrs of age but this can vary between individuals. There are parts of our bodies what carry on developing and adjusting slowly up until the age of 25yrs old, an example of this is the brain. The Endocrine system is a part of the brain what is very complex and keeps our bodies in a homeostasis state. Our testosterone levels start raising and roughly peak around 25yrs old and then start to slowly decline, so even though some of us may have stopped growing at the age of 21yrs old, others may still be developing up until the age of 25yrs old.

I have recently spoken to my Endo regarding this matter and he tells me that the HPTA is very sensitive and as many pathways how it regulates the human body, he states steroids disrupt the normal balance of hormones in the body which can cause reversible and irreversible changes at any age but risks are far more if you administrate exogenous androgens during development, this will put you in a very unnatural environment at a crucial time and your hormones should be treated with care especially in the early stages of maturity. The adverse effects can be erratic behaviour of the HPTA and potentially therapy when your older.

I did ask him what age he would think would be the safest as far as risk to damages and he said many endocrinologist suggest full maturation is reached by 25 years of age and this would also give the HPTA time to be established with your natural hormone balance and patterns. I personally feel 24-25yrs old would also be ideal starting point to get bloodwrok drawn to see exact what your natural levels are before starting any kind of cycles and waiting till you have reach your testosterone peak would be a good starting point, for me there is to much evidence over the forums and what I've seen personally over the last 25yrs I've been bodybuilding. Obviously it isn't going to be all 19- 21yr old bodybuilders who suffer side effects what are irreversible but I am edging on the side of caution what age I advice to the newbies.

You have made up your mind and you are sure it's quite safe so why are you asking any of us about PCT? You obviously have done your research and have all the answers.

Only answer you will get here is dont do it and if you dont like that one I'm I'm sure you will do like most all other 18 yr olds and ignore it until you are done with your cycle and need our help to figure out what wrong.

    Spot on Lovbyts!!!

If you already know your answers then why ask?? We see this type of post/thread daily and for the more knowledgable members like Marcus, Lovbyts, Derekjpappa... Its gotta be more frustrating than anything b/c in this community we dont want to see problems... And they still arise when done right by people who've been cycling for yrs!!!

Despite all of this a very knowledgable member - Derekjpappa who even said for you do your research and list all & everything that you can benefit from; but most importantly what will surely mess up your Endocrine Systems/& your HPTA as an 18 yr old whose Hormones are completely Ragin... So as of now... You are no where close as to starting a cycle! But if your really willing to go your research and to make a list as Derrekjpappa suggested to you(& in return you already have your mind made up he's made you an offer that will surely be of great service) and won't steer you the wrong way, OP... But he's expecting you to do your part which is a lot for someone who thinks Anavar is very mild... Lol - ask your liver that one!

I'm no slouch when it comes to my knowledge but I can also tell you I'm constantly learning on a daily basis, by reading and re-reading the sticky's, Audtinites educational database(everything in their), etc;One should never stop learning especially when new compounds/products/etc...are always coming out!

And no one is going to condone an 18 yr old doin steroids to begin with but do as you wish... I really just hope you do your homework for your own sake, so we don't see you a few months from now saying please help I'm using this that and the other... And you have no clue which compound it is at that point! Test only for first cycles... And we're just tryin to look out for your health - so don't take it personally!

    Good luck!

A lot of good posts and good information.

Here is my 2-cents of knowledge for you.

Steroids do the one thing that allows you to have an increase in gains...raise IGF. The raise of IGF occurs due to the hit the liver takes (that is the piece of the process that gives the IGF raise). This hit to the liver is one of the areas of concern you need to monitor to verify you are not abnormally abusing your body.

As to Anavar....if you are looking for gains it is not a drug I would point people to. It has more value in the arena of pump and joint support than anything associated in gains. It is popular "in my opinion" because females can use it without masculinity issues (usually).

If you are into wrestling go check out the archive footage of Stephanie McMahon pre and post breast implants. You can see what it can do for a girl..

I appreciate the concern but I really want to compete and if I wait till then I'll be too far behind the other guys. So far as I know about the side effect on a 18 year old is stunting the growth plates, and messing up my hormones etc because it hasn't developed fully? But again thanks for the advice!

Then you can also join all those other boys who will be making frequent doctors visits and trying to figure out what is wrong and are done competing before 25 because they didnt want anyone to get the jump on them also. We all know life is over well before 30.

    Good luck with that.

If you are going to do it then do it.

You got the standard first and second cycle stickies on here that tell you exactly what to use.

Let me save you some money....F anavar. Nice if you got money to burn...dollar per gains return is minimal. Here is the best link I ever found on test.

If you gain 14 KG lbm by just eating right (no workout) the sky is the limit on a 20-week test 600/week cycle with workout routine.

Understand your risks. Understand PCT and AI. Understand Diet and nutrition. Buy your substances and use. The information in grand detail is on this site and no one is going to give you positive vibes due to your age. I am 42 and too fat for steroids lol.

^^ what he said. Why not just build a strong foundation so when you do do it, you will be knowledgable and be able to get the most out of your first cycle
